Great for my chi mix!

This was the perfect size for my 9lb Chihuahua mix. From what I could see up to maybe an 11lb dog would fit comfortably, but no bigger. We traveled over 1500 miles, and she did just fine. Just be wary-when you exit the car for gas or what not-they can get tangled in the small harness. Other than that-absolutely loved it, and it was at a great price!

She loves it!

My yorkie loves this! I’ve just recently had to start using the clip to make sure she doesn’t jump out so love that feature too. I keep it up a little high so she can see out the window but after 5-10 minutes she curls up and goes to sleep.

My baby loves it

It keeps my baby safe and from sliding off the seat. It's definitely easier to install on the passenger seat since I drive a coupe and the back seat isn't a 60/40 splitting style, but I have made it work with an extra strap.

Good material

I have to say that I "settled" for this one because of pricing. I really wanted one that sat much higher since I have a yorkie. It is also for a front seat, and I prefer the back seat ones. It's not really made for the backseat. It's nice material and someone who is looking for this style would probably appreciate it more than I.

It was totally framed out in foam. I didn’t feel like my dog would be secure as it was not sturdy.

Leash that holds the dog is too long so my puppy would fly out if we were in a crash

This dog car holder is getting two stars because the leash that connects the car seat and the dog together is too long even on the shortest setting. First time using it she literally got out of the car seat and went over to literally sit on the regular seat not in her dog car seat. This means if there was a crash she would fly who knows where. To make matters worse there is the opening in the front so that the dog can rest its head out but again if there was a crash that would be even worse for my puppy because there is that hole/gap right in the front. My puppy is a rescue mixed breed and yes, is small but when making the safety straps they should have factored in small puppies as this is their smallest size. Fortunately, i bought a competitor which has a shorter leash and no opening in the front. I have included a picture to help you reviewers (blue seat, right/2nd picture). It is a deeper "bucket" too meaning that if there was a crash she would have the bucket protection rather than the low "walls" of this K and H car seat. The only positive is that it is a soft and plus car seat but for safety purposes which is why i assume most of you are reading this review, i would not recommend. OK but disappointed

Seems OK. Not as strong as I imagined, thought it would be a bit more solid not soft foam. It came in a box that was a little too small hence the front of the seat is bent inwards so not much use. I have stuffed a cushion inside to try and push the front back out will leave it there for 48hrs & hope for the best as DON'T want to have to return to the US. Needless to say after paying out £77(incl.p&p etc) I am disappointed and am a bit worried the front structure of seat has been weakened.

Well made

My cat likes to sleep in this seat when I bring it inside. She’s still getting used to being in it when driving. She likes being lose and going where she wants. The product is very well made. I put elastic around the head rest because it tends to tip to whatever side my cat leans and this seems to rectify that. The seat is too smal for her to stretch out but she can still curl up in it. My cat is around ten pounds and long. Would recommend on any car seat you buy for your fur baby to unhook them if you’re leaving them in the car unattended. My cat can get out but can’t get anywheress after that. I would be afraid of them getting caught in something or choking. This is not just for this seat but any pet car seat.

So impressed!! Doggie Heaven :)

My dog LOVES this!! About 7lbs. She can see out, she is comfortable. The bottom (under the cushion) is nice and stiff so it is sturdy and doesnt sag. Tighten the straps well and put the seatbelt through back loop, does exactly what it should.

The sides are too soft

The sides wouldn't hold up to a 10lb. small dog, they folded over. In the process of returning.
