Cute and comfy board shorts.

I wanted quick drying board shorts to wear when kayaking. These are cute and comfy with a bit of stretch. Velcro closure with the addition of a drawstring that allows some adjustment at waist. 2 pockets on side of leg also have Velcro closure. I ordered a size 10. I have a larger waist and the fit was good.

Nice but run big

I needed a pair of swim shorts to walk around the beach. These were a great price and they do look nice. I wish there was a back pocket to stick my phone in. The cargo style pockets are too small for a phone. Also these run big. I wear a size 8 jeans and that is what I ordered but the shorts are a little too big. I have to tie them as tight at they go to keep them up. But I would prefer a little bigger then too small since I wear them with a bikini top and I don’t need my fat hanging out over the shorts. Overall happy with the purchase.

Order two sizes up

After reading some reviews, I went one size up. They’re super thin and clingy, and if I reorder them I’ll go up another size. Had to return the first pair because they were too tight to be flattering—could have pulled them off if the material was different, maybe. I got the aqua green color and it’s super cute in person! Maybe just slightly more blue IRL than in the product image, but I really liked the color. If you spend more than $18 on these, you’re doing it wrong.

Nice item but INCONSISTENT SIZING!

The GOOD... I will say first that I like these shorts. They are a thinner, more flowy fabric than some board shorts I’ve owned, but I think many customers would like that. They’re pretty and serviceable, and the green I chose is as seen in the picture. The BAD... The sizing seems to be inconsistent. At first, I bought a pair in size 4. The 4 was slightly too large for my daughter, so I decided to try a 2 instead, thinking they would be perfect. When she tried on the 2, we were surprised to find that they were even more loose (i.e., larger) than the 4! We compared the two size-by-side, and lying flat, the size “2” truly was just a bit larger than the “4” in the waistband—maybe 1/4” to 1/2.” I carefully checked the inner tags to make sure it wasn’t just a packaging error, but they were clearly labeled by the sewn-in tags, and the 2 was definitely larger than the 4. Unfortunately, though, it leaves me unable to tell other buyers whether the shorts run small or large—I don’t know which was one in error. A 2 that runs too large, or a 4 that runs to small? In the end, we kept the 4 and tailored the waistband.

Cute and functional swim shorts

These swim shorts are great for a day at the beach. They fit well, hold their shape through activity and dry very quickly. Just wish they had a bikini lining, so they could function as a swim bottom without the need for a bikini bottom underneath

Stretchy, Comfy Board Shorts

These board shorts are a nice stretchy material and have a pocket on the side for holding rocks, shells, etc. I ordered the navy blue and it is a great color to match with lots of tops. When I first ordered, I was about a size 10 US women's, so I ordered the 10. The 10 turned out to be too big, especially around the waist. So I exchanged them for a size 8, which fit nicely, though still a little loose on the waist. They would pull down lower in the water, but not so low as to expose my butt crack. I then lost a few pounds and I'm now a size 8 US women's, and the 8 is too big. I exchanged them for a size 6 which fits nicely now, though still a little loose on the waist. So, if you carry some weight around the waist, these should fit nicely in your usual size. If you're small-waisted, you might order one size down from your usual size. BTW, I also ordered these shorts in the longer version and the same sizing issues existed.

My butt looks awesome in these!

I really like these shorts. I normally wear a size 10, and at the time of writing, on the high side of that 10. I ordered a 10, and they fit about like the picture, if not slightly more snug. I would say they are true to size. The material is really nice for the price point. Not overly stretchy where they lose shape, but lets you comfortably move around without the clothing constricting you. In true board short fashion, there is a Velcro waist closure supplemented by a shoestring tie. I might switch out the string color for some pop. These are not lined, so light colors may show what's underneath when wet. For women who are emphatically pear shaped, I could see that the waist might be a little big. It fit me great. If your Velcro is coming apart when you sit, you need to size up. The Navy blue color is beautiful subtlely slighlty faded dark blue. The Velcro pockets on the sides aren't huge, but functional, which usually is a big pet peeve of mine with women's clothing: decorative useless pockets. I wouldn't trust your valuables in the water with them tho. And lastly, bonus...these make my butt look fabulous! Maybe it's just how they fit or where the seam is, or all those squats and elliptical time, who knows. I'm ordering more.

Size 6 - Black shorts fit perfect, blue shorts I'm returning

I'm a regular size 6 in most clothing. I ordered two pairs of these shorts in size 6, the blue ones and the black ones. The black shorts fit perfect in the waist and hips. The blue shorts were slightly big in the hips and very big in the waist. You would think these shorts would fit identical but they don't. The drawstring is just in the front, it does not go all way around so you can't pull the waist tighter. I'm returning the blue shorts and keeping the black ones. The material is on the thin side, good for swimming. Hope this helps someone, its a gamble to pick the right size and there's no size chart except for plus sizes. My waist is 30 inches and my hips are 33 inches, the biggest part of my butt is 36 inches around.

Great short!

I really like these shorts. My husband even commented on how nice they are. I generally wear a medium but I bought size 10 and they are perfect. I really wish they came in more colors.

Big Big Booty

I was tempted to keep these shorts because they were cute and the material would have been nice and light for the hot weather. BUT, my butt is too big for them and it fit quite snug over my rear making the front closing a little too risky for my liking. The length was a little higher than mid thigh. I could have gone up a size and reordered, unfortunately I'm leaving for my trip before they'd arrive. I'd say if you got a big bum order 1 size up and then you won't be risking exposure.

Sizing is accurate

Love the style and the fabric. The pockets on the sides aren't big but that is of no consequence to me. (They are more of a fashion detail in my opinion). Really cute shorts. Could be worn for swimming. The fabric would dry very fast. Shipped and arrived quickly.

Inconsistent sizing but amazing shorts

I love these shorts. They run small. I’m usually around a size 10. I got the 12 and they were snug. But when I bought the 14 some were big and one pair was perfect. I wear them hiking because they’re very light, I can swim in them, and they dry almost instantly. I wish the sizing was consistent or that the drawstring did more to cinch the waist, but I do love them and wear them more than most of my other shorts.
