always great shoes
These are my favorite work shoes. This is my third pair in ten years...they last.

Held up great for 6 months.
I wear these everyday to work and play. I'm very hard on footwear. The soles held up perfect. The leather blew out of the outside of my left shoe. I always order wide. I'm 270 lbs. I'll buy again.

Can’t buy better than keene
I received these as a birthday present. First opening, the thought was these are way too large for my size 8 normal shoe. All in all, good fit, high quality and they look great. Although I have yet to wear these on the Habitat for Humanity work site yet, I expect great comfort and protection from dropping an unexpected on my toes plus I feel safe from stepping on the errant non-bent over nail. Would I buy these again. For sure. Would I recommend to another to purchase? Without a doubt. On our 20 plus person permanent volunteer Habitat build team, about 70% wear this low cut boot. This shoe is a great one.

My third Keen steel toe show of a similar design.
I'm now on my third Keen steel toe shoe. The style I have been buying wasn't available so I am trying these out, I've had them for about a month. I have had three surgeries on my left foot. My last surgery removed my entire plantar fascia ligament. My shoe priorities have changed as a result. Comfort is huge, when I'm not in my work shoes which has a custom inserts I wear my Altra brand running shoes even though I don't run as much these days I have to say they are extremely comfortable and I highly recommend them. As far as a steel toe work boot I've found Keen's are what are the most comfortable for me, even before I had my custom inserts made for my feet. Ventilation is the other important aspect I look for. My surgeries were pretty invasive and I have a lot of nerve damage and anyone that has this kind of nerve damage can tell you things change. For me I'm more sensitive towards temperatures, high temperatures really take their tool on me. A good comfortable shoe that breaths well are the most important factors for me. The shoes tongue isn't as comfortable as my last pair, I'm hoping they break in the more I wear them. I think my last pair of Keens lasted me two years. If these new ones last as long I'll be happy.

My choice in work shoes.
I am in my feet all day and walk up to 13 miles in a work day. Keens are great shoes. Very durable, very comfortable. Once I started wearing Keens they have been my work shoe of choice. I have been wearing them for years don't forsee changing brands. The steel toes are roomy and do not crowd toes. The inner sole is springy and comfortable. The materials are very durable and are long lasting.

Super comfy
I’ve been wearing these for about 7 months working in a manufacturing site. They’ve been super comfortable, and I’ve even worn them off site when I knew I’d be on my feet for a while. These are the most comfortable pair of safety toes I’ve owned.

Buy quality padded inserts.
The shoe holds up to daily work abuse well. I wear them everyday for construction. Through bad Wisconsin winters and muggy hot summers. The inserts that come with them are crap! I immediately buy quality padded inserts and typically change those out every 4 months or so. The soles seem to last me at least 8 months or more before getting too worn down. The heavy rubber cap on the toes is perfect!

Seemingly good shoes, but HEAVY.
Seemingly good quality shoes, but they are very heavy. I can't imagine wearing these 10 hours a day. Returning them for Keen composite toe boots (which are significantly lighter).

Safe an cozy
I love these boots for work as they fit really snug and have strong lace points as compared to other boots in this category. My guess is this allows for more protective footing due to not having CSA approval, but still passes composite toe requirements for on-site working conditions. Overall great product and will likely order more from KEEN in the future!

I really like these boots, except...
I've had these boots about a year, and I'm very happy with them. The only reason I didn't give a five star review in because the sole has begun separating from the shoe and now water gets in easier
