Very comfortable!
I decided to try these after I saw an online review that gave them high marks for comfort. For years and years I've been getting [same name as Detroit's hockey team], which are an excellent boot but they take weeks to break in, and meanwhile I'm getting blisters and painfully scraping my toe knuckles on the underside of the lacing rivets. These were comfortable right out of the box, and after putting 6 miles on them the first day my feet still felt fine when I took them off at night. They also came with some thicker laces, so I'm not cutting into my fingers with narrow ones trying to get them laced tight enough. Highly recommended!

Great boots
Only nit to pick is that the laces are either too short to wrap around the back or too long if you don’t. I put on some shorter ones. Plenty comfortable, composite toe is about exactly the same weight as the soft toe (I have a pair of both). Good toe room. I’m barefoot when I’m not at work, and these boots squash the toes together much less than any other boot I’ve tried. Insoles are maybe not as good as Redwing, but if not they they are #2 in the world, which isn’t bad at all.

Love these boots
These are my favorite outside boots. I use these working in the yard, cutting trees, building projects, etc. I love that they have carbon toe boxes for protection and they are waterproof. They fit great and are really comfortable, like all the other Keen shoes I have. They're nice looking and have held up well thus far. Definitely worth the price.

I've Got Keen's on my Toes and This is How it Goes
First off, I should mention that I have a condition known as "Florida Feet" Well, probably not a medical condition, but that's what the guy at the outfitters called it when I was trying on shoes once. The phenomena of FF is a result of wearing sandals (Birks for me, thanks) and going barefoot all the time. This results in your forefoot and toes to relax and spread out, think of it as the opposite of foot binding. So, I look for shoes with larger toe boxes. That's how I came across Keen. Besides being made in the USA of high quality materials, they also tend to have a larger toe box. I've owned a few pairs of their shoes and currently I wear a set whenever I'm forced to wear shoes that are size 11.5. They fit great. So, I ordered these the same size and these, not so much. Maybe it's the extra toe protection. So maybe go half a size up. I was unable to swap these out, so I'm not absolutely sure that's true. The other issue I had was on the right side there is a seam on the inside where it transitioned from the eyelets on the laces to the catches that pressed against my ankle and it hurt, a lot, over time. The seam is in both shoes, but for some reason only the right had an issue. I tried a few times to get these to "break-in" but no such luck, I just ended up in pain and really looking forward to taking them off. So, the fit on these isn't right for me, but they are great quality should they fit you.

Solid and great for work
These are KEEN brand, so the quality and design are there. The feel of the boots as you put them on the first time feels "right". The fit is excellent. The arches are a good height, but I also add a heel pad for my feet. The front toe area is solid and will protect well. The boots are well sewn and stitching is very good, minimal or no loos threads. The soles are comfortable for being on your feet for a long time while working. They are heavy, and the only thing for me is that the height can sometime bother my ankles after some hours. If I wear thicker socks it helps. Overall, worth it, they are KEEN brand and should last.

Solid Durable Materials, Comfortable to Wear.
As with most all Keen footwear this has that hallmark solid and durable feel with a level of comfort that is surprisingly good. This carbon fiber toe is lighter than steel versions yet very strong. It makes for a slightly lighter boot which is always a plus. The soles have excellent traction on a variety of surfaces. Keen soles allow me to frame, roof and build better than other work boot brands. I wear Keen everyday and have for over 8 years now. There is one area however that they seem to break down first and that is the stitching right above the soles at the middle sections on either outside side of each boot. This is the joint area that bends when you squat down with the pads of your feet flat and your heels lifted. This bending area seem to always break the stitching free after a few months of use for me. Otherwise great. 4 solid stars.
