To elevate a kichler landscape light you MUST purchase this part

If you are using Kichler lighting and need to elevate a light you will need this (or similar) double ended stem coupler to complete the elevation. The elevation configuration will consist of 1) the light unit; 2) this coupler and finally 3) the Stem and ground spike (if it's going in the ground). Typically the light unit and spike are sold together. I bought the stems from a different 'landscape lighting company' with an 'expert' helping me via phone. They didn't know you needed this part. And this part is THE part to finish. Again, like most Kichler products I think it's expensive but seeing as it's a landscape application it's going to take a beating.

Wrong Size

This was supposed to be a 1/2 inch coupler - it's definitely not. It's more like 1 inch so was useless for what I needed it for and not worth shipping back, so basically I wasted my money
