Looks great!

The chandelier looks great and overall was not difficult to install. I was only disappointed that the chain was only 32 inches long. The wire is plenty long, but if you have it mounded with a chain running from the ceiling fixture to a hook centered over your dining room table, then you will need to purchase a supplemental length of chain. If they could have only included a 60” chain... The other problem with the chain is that the links on both ends are closed tight, yet they have to hook on to the rings at the ceiling mount and on the chandelier itself. It would have been better if they included two open links, as they do on their Armida pendant lights. I had to struggle to open the links and then close them, without scratching the finish.

Good chandlier

The chandlier is a good purchase. It looks good and gives the room a contemporary styling. The overall quality looks good. I used the energy efficient bulbs in it, but the spirals were not seen - it shows that the glass is thick to hide the details of the bulb, but at the same time has a nice warm glow. The manual was mediocre at best - but if you have an apptitude, you should be able to figure it out. Also, this box did not come with a "tool" to fix the glass shades to the bars. But, since I had also purchased the 3-light chandlier which had the tool, it was not a problem. You can put your hand through the glass and screw it to the metal, but the tool will make it much easier.

Photos don't show color accurately

I was disappointed in the way this chandelier looked in real life versus the online photos. It appeared very dark brown or black online, but was more of a medium flat brown in real life. It also arrived with several spots where the painted finish had been rubbed through to the metal underneath. I returned it and will look for something else.

elegant

I bought this light for my dinning room and it is gorgeous. Very simple and elegant. It has also been described as modern yet traditional. I am very happy with the purchase of this light. Great quality for the price too.

Modern but transitional

We bought this for our small dining room after looking at thousands of light fixtures. We couldn't decide between old world look but that was modern enough to go with our eclectic furniture and style. This was a great transitional piece. The light is nice and soft too. Clean lines.

Looks great on barrel ceiling

Gorgeous in a historic home that needed a little updating. If you like the charm of an older home that has character, but want some more contemporary finishes and upgrades, then this transitional fixture is for you. Measure and make sure its the right size for the space!

Each of the five bars holding the glass globes had a hole at each end. These were unsightly and don't match the photographs shown on Amazon or the Kichler website. This was the main reason I returned the light fixture. The kit had a box that contained the chain, canopy, and mounting bracket. It also had a second box with the same items. Not sure why I'd need two of those, but some documentation such as a warranty or assembly instructions would have been nice. And one of the globes was scratched.
