It's a KitchenAid bottle opener..

If your reading this I imagine you have an ice cold long neck in your hand, ice cold, looking delicious... but disaster strikes!! It's not a twisty top!! What are you to do!? Use one of the umpteen openers you already have.. however if your looking for something for guests and using your keys is getting lame... this is an elegant easy to use opener that works, it is just a bottle opener after all, how complicated can it be

This does not open screw on bottle tops, would probably be good for other bottles,

I have mostly screw on bottles that I have trouble opening, when I open them for the first time. I will probably keep it, it was not expensive., It will not open any screw on cap I have.

Stylish Bottle Opener

This is a stylish bottle opener that handles soda, beer and other similar crimped cap bottles. The textured, slightly concave handle has a nice feel in the hand. I drilled a hole in the handle to accommodate a small "D" Ring Carabiner Clip. The carabiner clip works very well for attaching the opener to a belt loop or key ring. In the process of drilling the hole in the handle I discovered that the metal tang of the opener only extends a short way into the plastic handle. I verified this by sliding a magnet along the handle to a point where there was no longer magnetic attraction. While the lack of a full metal tang in the handle made it easier to drill, it also makes the leverage ( opening ) advantage of the handle weaker. I have deducted one star for that.

Compact, sturdy bottle opener

The frame is made from hardened plastic. One side of the handle is flat, while the other side is slightly curved. Overall, the handle is quite sturdy. The metal insert for bottle opening is strong and well made. Opening bottles with this is very easy. Engagement is exact. There's absolutely no concern with the bottle opener gripping a cap slightly off and breaking the neck of the bottle. Some may take issue with the compact sizing. I must admit it feels very small in my hands. However, while small, this bottle opener functions consistently and does the job, every time. Recommended 4 stars Cheers!

On the smaller, lighter side - easy to carry around.

Over the holidays and football watching, this KitchenAid Bottle Opener got lots of testing and received passing marks from all of its users. (It’s difficult to get rave reviews for a bottle opener, lol.) This opener is a bit short at 5” in length, and light-weight at just over an ounce. It has a grip to it, yet still maintains a flat profile at 3/8” thick. The balance is nice. It works and will last. I may want a few more of these on hand, they could walk off. Portable.
