Great ruler

This is a very good ruler, my only issue is the back side of the tape has a conduit multiplier which I don’t need and I really dislike the forefinger lock button

Great

Gift for my grandson the electrician. However he says he needs a new one every six months. It doesn’t strike me as the tape on these are well made if they wear out that fast. He liked this brand, so he must like it for a reason.

Started off amazing

My 1st purchase was 1/15/22. It lasted until 9/15/22, and honestly, the best tape I've ever used, bar none. The tape broke around the 2" mark. Then just before the 24th of Feb this year, just 5 months from the previous purchase, the same thing. The picture on the review is from today, sp the 3rd tape to do thos, and I actually ordered a new backup yesterday ironically whole the tape was still fine. After the new one comes, depending on how long it lasts, I may go back to fat max. After a year or 2 with a fat max they quit retracting well, but they never broke like these Kleins have.

Well built

Two different 'stop' mechanisms. Strong unsupported length when extended. Clear Markings on both sides. A bit heavy, probably because of the build quality.

Great tape. I dropped a washer and nut from 25ft up in a lift and lowered the tape measure down to pick them up with the magnet tip! Solid!

Don’t buy used

Thought I was getting a good deal by buying a used one. It turned out to be garbage! It never retracted by itself and it always got stuck. Might as well spend the extra bucks next time.

Are you in a hurry? Great because this no tape retracts faster/stronger than this mofo

Not to be a puss but you really got a make sure you hold this tape a certain way when it’s retracting otherwise you’ll break your finger. If you work with someone you don’t like have them help you take a long measurement with them holding the tape. Say something like here you read it because I know where I need to measure from and then when you’re done with the measurement sit back and watch cuz chances are some F bombs are going to be flying with some finger boo-boos to boot.
