This worked great in my pool and didn't cost a lot of money. I was putting down Pool Krete which is a light weight concrete/vermiculite mixture for Vinyl liner pools.

Nice, but not well machined.
Well made, quality tool.(16”). I bought it for use with compound only. A tad on the stiffer side, but with just enough flex. The bottom was not perfect when I got it. There were grinding marks down the center where the rivets are located. It was not smooth and flat. I had to wet sand it for quite a while before it was ready to go.

Great trowel
Never used carbon steel before but have used blue steel Kraft trowels 14x4 for 20+ years. Great trowel at a good price.
