Easy to assemble, harder to knock over

When I was single, I had plenty of unused table space. Now that I am married, we actually use my small dining room table. Last year, figurines were knocked over and broken, even though we tried to be careful. So this year, I wanted something smaller, something that would be harder to knock over, something easier that was sturdier. This nativity set fits the bill. The base has slots that are sized for easy assembly. The wider slots go to the back, so the back of the stable goes in. The next layer is the front of the stable and Mary, Joseph, and Jesus. The very front has a slot for the shepherd and the three kings. Easy peasy! The only thing I have noticed is the head of the king on the far right is slightly bowed back. I am not worried about that; as you can see, it doesn't detract from the look of the set. I am very happy with this nativity scene; it is serving its purpose. If you are short on space this might serve well. If you have children or pets that tend to jump on flat surfaces, this would probably do well for you.

Not worth the money

Was very disappointed with it. Not worth the $32. Is Flimsy & looks like a cut out prop.

Very nice small Nativity Set

I purchased this set because I wanted a smaller inexpensive set because I felt so bad that I didn't have one up for Christmas. Just didn't feel the same. All of my beautiful sets were in the basement and because of an injury, I couldn't get down there. What caught my eye was the Blessed Mother and Baby Jesus. I have never seen a Nativity Set with Mary holding the Baby Jesus up to look out - only in the manger. I love it, and I see now that it is no longer available. True it is cardboard-like, but doesn't look like it came from the Dollar Store and I shop there a lot. The only comment I would make is possibly a lesser cost but if you look at any of the others such a Fontanini (which I don't even like!) they are outrageous! Happy I purchased, something I will use every year.

Damaged or I'd give it 5.

Even in this state I would like to give this 3.5 stars, but that's not an option. The price is great, the look is perfect, and I'd be absolutely thrilled with it, if the paint wasn't peeling off Joseph's face and if the base of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus wasnt too thick to fit in the slot. I'll sand down the base for now, and see if the seller is able to send me a new middle piece. It also looks like maybe there are some tiny chips out of the paint here and there, but I think it kind of adds to the charm of the painted look. I will update my review if the seller can send me a replacement piece.
