Decent starter kit - flags not very durable
This is a decent starter kit for beginning referees. The whistle leaves a bit to be desired, as other reviews have noted - I switched to a Fox40 almost immediately. And the flags are not very durable. Mine are already fraying around the edges and I have only had them a couple of years.

Best we found!
Many reviews said the flags would break or slide so I spent more time than usual researching products. I should’ve known just to go with the brand name. Kwik Goal Never disappoints. This was a perfect kit for my newly certified son! One recreation soccer game and he earned back the payment for the kit!

Adequate starter kit for new referees
This great little kit has almost everything a new referee needs to officiate his or her first game. The kit includes a metal whistle on a lanyard; score pads; plastic red & yellow cards; and the flags for the assistance referees. The sideline flags have cushioned handles to make it comfortable for the assistant refs or parental recruits. There is a clip at the bottom that attaches the flag to the staff. In one instance this came detached, but I'm not sure if it was due to poor product design or the hyperactivity of the young teen who my assistant for the game (I'm leaning towards the latter). The score pad has 25 sheets which should be enough to get you through your first season. The only real complaint I have about the whole kit is the quality of the paper. During one very humid day, I was unable to write on the paper with either a pen or pencil. I enthusiastically recommend this kit for new refs.

Great product
I ordered this product because I am being a referee this upcoming rec season. Pros: -great flags feel almost top notch -wallet has awesome note pad but doesn't have much space for goals Cons: -one of the cards was kinda hard to get out but it was probably because they cut it a little too big -whistle isn't the best because the pea sometimes gets stuck but it still works great if you are blowing on It super hard ( that's what she said) So overall, I would definitely recommend this product to referees that want a great kit, but I would probably recomend buying a separate whistle like a fox 40 finger grip or one of the Metal MLS ones you can get at target.

Whistle isn’t up to par
Nice flags, durable, the only complaint from my side isn’t the flags or the card book, but the actual whistle is not a fox40 I would’ve atleast appreciated something I could utilize as a set completely

Not bad, not permanent
Not a bad starter kit. The wallet isn't very durable, and the pockets can start to come apart if you pull out your cards often. The score pad is very limited, because the space for goals is insufficient, especially for youth games (where most referees who need this kit start) which tend to be high-scoring. I ended up designing my own score pad using a spreadsheet program. The whistle is good to start with, though I use it for a backup since I prefer pea-less whistles and I don't like non-breakaway neck lanyards much. The flags are good quality, and are worth the purchase price themselves. This kit is good for starters, but you'll want to quickly trade up for a better-quality whistle and book when you can.

Good Value
Pretty good for the price. The flags are nicer and more professional looking that the cheap solid color flags. The flags do rotate but many times they get tangled while trying to rotate. The wallet folds in half and fits great in the pocket. Overall it is pretty good for the price. Especially for younger or new refs.
