Great fit and quality

Review: I tried a couple La Blanca suits recently and I find them to fit well and sizing to be consistent. I am 5ft, 115lbs and ordered a size 6. There is a little extra fabric near the center as I would expect for my build, but it’s not too noticeable. The weight is nice and is doubled along the front size. The padded bra on this style, unlike a few other styles I have tried in La Blanca, is built in. There is no removable padding. The shoulder straps are adjustable, and they can be completely removed. The print reminds me of a fiesta party. Not my solid go-to, but fun for the right place and time. The chest ruffle is also a bit large, but I am smaller framed. The ruffle at the chest does add some modesty. There is nice coverage all around. The back cut out is nice but only a small portion can be seen since the ruffle covers a large part of it.

Adjustable straps, full coverage

This suit is well stitched and has adjustable straps that are removable. The cups seem overly structured and stiff, giving a more matronly feel to the suit. The ruffled neckline is nice in adding to the suits modesty, and the peekaboo criss cross on the back is an unexpected, and imo, unnecessary detail. The colors are bright and vivid, but for me this suit was a miss, a weird juxtaposition of matronly and juvenile.

Nice One Piece Swimsuit

This swimsuit fits well and has a nice ruffle detail on top. I'm not particularly big on top so the ruffle detail is nice. The cups are sewn in and not removeable which I like also. It's a fun pattern and the suit itself is not flimsy or made with thin fabric. It feels well made with a outer and inner lining. This suit will hold up for many seasons.

High quality swimsuit and cute too!

I am so use to wearing the swimsuits that say you look 10 pounds thinner but in those I always have to order a size bigger because it is a wrestling match to get into them. Being so use to them, I ordered the size bigger in this and realized I really didn't need to. This swimsuit really does run true to size. I was surprised and happy to see it had built in support as that is something I definitely need. The straps are kind of thin, I'd maybe like to see them more heavy duty as I am bigger on top and need to hoist up. Since the straps do come off, I can easily get more tightening by criss-crossing the straps on the back. I love the ruffle detail. I think it is flirty, feminine and a great way to hide some sagging that you get from not wearing a full support bra underneath. Overall, I am really happy with this swimsuit. The print is fun, not something I would normally lean to but I love it.

Beautiful, bright colors for resort/beachwear

La Blanca swimwear is a high-end brand that I've seen at places like Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's. Having owned a plethora of swimsuits, both expensive and cheap, I am a huge believer of splurging on good quality swimsuits, because it shows in the fit, fabric, and durability. This one is no different. The material is great, and the spandex tucks in all the unflattering parts while keeping the fit comfortable. I love the built-in bra and the ruffle details. The color is so vibrant and festive without being tacky. I don't intend on taking off the straps, so I'm not sure how well it stays up without them. I've officially graduated from bikinis after having a baby, but this one piece doesn't make me feel frumpy. I love that this particular style fits women of all shapes and sizes. You can be curvy or boyish in figure, and this one will still look flattering. I highly recommend this brand and this one-piece!

Ruffled Bandeau One Piece Women's Swimsuit

LoveLoveLove this swimsuit. I normally wear takinis and shy away from one piece swimsuits. Something about the colors just made me drawn to this one. I think my picture is pretty accurate with the colors of it as is the picture in the description. It fits as expected and I believe the ruffles draw the eye away from my mid-section which is what I want. The straps are removable. I tried on without the straps and felt pretty secure. Now granted, I've not worn this in a body of water as of yet, but I have a good feeling about it. It is hand wash but I hand wash all of my swim wear. I'm really happy with this swimsuit and look forward to getting many wears out of it!!

Love this swimsuit!

Reviewed by my wife: I love this swimsuit! It is so pretty, fits perfectly, and is modest and comfortable. I am 5 ft tall, 120 lbs, 32D and ordered size 6. Because I’m petite I love the adjustable straps. The cups give good support while the straps are on, but not much when they are removed, keep that in mind if you want to wear this strapless. That’s not an issue for me because I just plan on lowering my straps for sunbathing and putting them back on when I get up to walk around. I love the ruffle on the top and the lacing detail in the back…very cute! The bottom gives good coverage. This is a quality made swimsuit. It’s so incredibly soft and comfortable. I washed mine on gentle cycle and hung it to air dry and it still looks brand new. The price is a bit steep, but if you’re willing to invest in a really well made swimsuit that looks and fits great, I’d say it’s worth it.

Very flattering swimsuit.

Ordering a swimsuit online is daring. Will it fit? Will it look good? I wear a size 16 and ordered the 16W. It fits perfectly! And it is very flattering. The suit gives plenty of coverage at the hips and backside. It's got removable straps to wear it strapless. And at the top of the band, there's a grippy strip so it won't slide down. The ruffle is feminine and flattering. I'd highly recommend this swimsuit! (The listing shows a picture with a lace-up back, but the suit I got is solid material.)
