Heavyweight material that is not too heavy

I bought one of these shirts for my husband because he has only one long sleeve casual tee and because my hairdresser told me that her husband liked the shirt so much that he asked her to buy him another one. Well, this is the 3rd of these shirts that I have purchased in the last month because my husband liked it so much. He is not very tall (5’8”), but the shirt is not too long. The sleeves are not too long, and the cuffs help with that, anyway. I have washed the black and red shirts (inside out in cold, tumble dry low), and I didn’t notice any fading. I think these are his new favorite shirts, especially for cool weather.
