Worked great
Worked great- hung a large TV in my sons room for graduation but wanted to make the wall look tidy. The directions are very clear with good pictures and was able to install this in an afternoon. I chose this one because of the outlet and usb plug. I thought it was nice that you could plug the TV and fire stick in behind the TV instead of feeding those cords through the wall. My only suggestion is that the bottom plug extension if it had a right angle on it so that it laid flat against the wall would be great. Very happy with the way it looks now

Using GeekSquad for your TV? Get this!
This is the same item you can get from Bestbuy but it can be cheaper on Amazon. If you’re getting your TV installed by geeksquad, they will want you to have something like this to hide your cables. I have it installed for my living room TV and it works well!

Ongoing review
This review will be revised as necessary: Installation: The Romex coming out of this box is only 6’ long. The system was designed to be installed from an outlet accessible immediately below with no firebreak in between. If there is a fire break, unlikely, you will have to access the break through the wall, drill, and feed wire through. This will be difficult because the connector is rather large. Anything requiring longer than 6’, distance will require extending the Romex. The outlet is recessed at an angle, which is nice. This means the outlet is flared to the left inside the wall. That is, it is larger on the left than on the right inside the wall. You will need to be at least 1” away from any obstruction, like a stud. Otherwise, the outlet will make contact with the obstruction on the left side.

Better hope you don't need support
One of the screws on this got hung up and destroyed a small portion of the plastic. I contacted the company for a replacement piece and they charged me for it!

That’s a BRICK WALL!
It was a good idea until I literally hit a brick wall! This is too deep and of course I sawed a square hole in my drywall only to find out. I still got it to work but had to buy a shallow electrical boxes and Jerry Rig it. Don’t forget, if there’s a stud, the outlet can’t be hidden.
