Not Oversized

This product claims oversized wall cover but it is really a medium size. It is still bigger than standard but not what I was looking for.

Price seams really high

$7.31!!!!! that seams like a 600-700% mark up. They are like $1-2 at other places. are you sure the rate is right?

Fits older phone jack outlets... mostly

I looked everywhere for phone jack outlet plates that were slightly larger than the modern standard. The jacks in my building were likely installed in the 1980s. All the standard plates were too small, both in terms of covering the hole in the wall and for allowing the actual phone jack through the hole in the plate. The size of both the hole in the plate and the plate itself are perfect, but on the back side of these plates there's a plastic edge around the hole that sticks out approx 5-10mm. I cut this off with a hacksaw (to make it flush with the edges of the plate) but the remaining plastic around the hole still results in the plate bulging out a little in the middle after it's installed. Close enough for me, but not perfect.

Larger plate works

Liked it, fit oversized as I took out a central vac outlet and ran CAT6 cable through the same location. This cover was able to cover the entire whole left by the old outlet.

oversized is a great idea

oversized is great for hiding flaws in walls. I just wish they were a little more oversized. They do not look oversized on the walls and no one will know.
