Doesn't include key, this isn't stated in the description.

The required key to operate this switch is not included. Nowhere in the description does it state specifically that the key has to be purchased separately. The switch itself works as it should, the seller needs to be more clear with the description of the item.

Quality built lockout switch, doesn't come with key in box.

Purchased this lockout switch in order to stop accidentally turning off a light that should remain on for a good portion of the year. When we need to turn it on or off, we get the key out and flip the switch. It works beautifully and the ivory matches the ivory Cooper wall plates I have nicely. Only 4-stars because this product is not cheap and did not include the key required to flip the switch; which is essentially a flat piece of stamped metal. It's very cheap, and cost me 5 additional dollars. It really should have been included.

It's a switch, it works, mine came with one key.

I used this to replace the toggle switch to an outside floodlight that was replaced with theRing Floodlight Camera that I want to leave on all the time. It came with oneLeviton 55500-PRT key . It works as it should, one way is off the other is on. Fits under normal cover plate.

Keeps the switch from being turned off by mistake.

Great switch for outdoor lights that use a motion detector to operate. The switch allows me to easily turn off the power for maintenance and prevents my kids from inadvertently turning the switch off. I purchased two switches and each one included the Leviton 55500-PRT Key.

good switch, works fine, not super secure, but secure enough that it won't accidentally get turned on or off. I use this about once a year to turn off my automatic porch lights when we are done passing out candy on Halloween.
