The enclosure (49605-28P) is 28 inches in height and includes a vented, 180-degree hinged door that facilitates cooling of enclosed equipment. The door installs tool-free with innovative ratcheting hinges that can be adjusted to accommodate differing drywall sizes, and imperfections. The door may be installed left, or right hand swinging. With the additional of a door lock kit (5L000-L0K), the enclosure can be securely locked. Perfect for Frame TVs

Love this box to keep a wire free look in my rooms under the TV. Have to cut out dry wall in order to mount it, and pull a new plug if you want to hide the power but makes for a clean look!

Near perfect for Samsung One Connect box

This is sturdy with lots of air holes. Great for mounting behind a tv as long as your wall studs are 16" apart. The power outlet punch-out wasn't the correct size for the blue box that I had, so I had to modify this box, which wasn't too hard, with a utility knife.

Perfect for what we needed

My husband used this to hide our Samsung Frame TV box and DirecTV box BEHIND our TV in the wall (who wants to see cords?). Worked great.

Good box but with some pricing and knockout issues

This is a very good structured box. I think it’s somewhat expensive for what you’re getting, though. It can be installed in the wall, or you can surface mount it, which is what I did. There’s genuinely quite a few options here. The plastic itself is very, very sturdy - and ironically, perhaps too sturdy. The same attributes that make it so tough make the knockouts rather difficult to actually knock out. Someone posted a review of the box where he broke a piece of the plastic frame when knocking a spot out. The exact same thing happened to me in the same spot. I’ve seen many knockout ports that were nowhere near as hard to get out as these. It’s a real issue, but didn’t affect usability of the box. The same issue applies to the stud mounting on the side of the box. If you don’t need it, you can bend the plastic and take that off. However, there’s no way to do so cleanly, really. So there’s a couple of spots with jagged edges that I will trim down with a dreamer or multi tool at some point. If these were the only issues with the box, I’d rate individual aspects of this higher. My rating of four stars is rounded up, really. But they do not include any kind of mounting fasteners at all, which is kind of weak considering the price. They do include screws if you get a cover for it, but that’s it. What really sucks is the pricing of the “accessories”, some of which for sure should be included at this price. I was able to get by with Velcro ties, but you may not. My biggest piece of advice is to have some idea what you need in advance and price out any accessories you may need alongside this box. It will be hard later on to look at the whole price unless you’re prepared in advance.

Perfect for small in-wall networks.

Shelves sold separately. I put this in the wall where my fiber was dropped. Having room for the power supply was an issue, I would recommend the "thin" line from Cyberpower (it fits). The plastic will bend a little when installing, but it's a network panel, to be somewhat expected. I also recommend command strips for installing small units like my raspberry pi (pi-hole ad-block). I also had an electrician come out and run power to the plates in the bottom. All in all this was a great purchase and I do recommend.

Good quality media panel

The panel looks good and the install was pretty straight forward. I ran my fiber modem and router from my attic into my laundry room for ease of access. I also ordered the trim piece separately which cleaned up the overall look.

Good For Some Accessories

Overall the box is good, but the hole used to mount accessories do not allow some other brands to be used. I had to use a 1/4 drill to add extra holes betweeen the existing ones to attach a some Legrand accessories. I did like the keyhole mount for the cover so I can just attach with the top two screws for quick access.

Can't find elsewhere cheaper

Needed one of these for some recessed sprinkler controllers and Amazon had the best price I could find. Been using these for years and this particular unit has the solid cover (not hinged door). Make sure you choose your door options carefully, as the hinged door probably costs as much as the whole enclosure

I do not want the cover because I want it to be flush behind the tv, but I was a little surprised this did not come with the cover, since the product listing has but 2 pictures and one of them is of the cover. It does come with the cardboard paint block cover.

A must have for wall mounting a flat screen tv!

This is a must have for wall mounting a Samsung Frame TV. It fits perfectly between two wall studs and it is plastic (not metal) so it doesn’t interfere with wifi. So glad it’s available on Amazon!

Awesome product for structured media

works great ended up filling it pretty fast. Used at structured media panel. Ended up just pre drilling and screwing in my electronic devices as not all the holes line up. And used zap straps to pull wires tight to sides. Looks and works great.
