What I expected

Color is as described. Easy to install and to date, working well. Not sure why brown is three times the price of white.????

bad sticker placement

Bought a few of these. Quality is fine, but did they have to place a scanning label directly over the face of the plug? Its not a easy peel off so ended up having to use some glue-off to get the residue off the face. Sticker residue was left inside the prong hole, that I had to fish out. Very annoying.

As for any of these, easy to install and have them running. I used strained wire with ferrules to connect them, which was still as easy as solid wire

Always solid hardware

I almost always use Leviton hardware unless I'm doing "smart" applications. They are great for the value and always work well.

The Best - Only order New from Amazon

These are the best. They look quite modern and classy and provide a very nice upgrade in look vs your standard circular outlets. I know some people complain about the Tamper Resistant feature, but it's a necessity and a WHOLE lot better than having those plastic covers that are impossible to remove. They are the standard and nothing else should be used. A note. I've learned from experience that there seems to be a high rate of fraud when relating to household items like this. I don't know if it's contractors or homeowners, but you cannot trust anything other than ordering NEW and Ships from Amazon. A few months ago, I had ordered one from Warehouse Deals and finally got around to opening them and literally HALF are someone's swapped outlets. They are 20 amp (not 15), non-tamper resistant and not Decora. There is no "accident" here, this was intentional. They THINK they are just taking advantage of Amazon, but they aren't - they are taking advantage of people like me. Those 1 star reviews are for the same scenario - returns from contractors who charge the customer for materials and then get a refund from Amazon. Shame on Amazon for not spending the literal 30 seconds to see that half of them look COMPLETELY differently. This is an excellent product though. Buy New from Amazon and enjoy the upgrade in your house.

Good quality

Most of the new receptacles with tamper-resistant features have issues. You are forced to use them in order to be building-code compliant. Plugging your appliances into these receptacles can be challenging. I have ended up damaging quite a few plugs and receptacles as a result of my efforts. In contrast, the receptacles from Leviton worked perfectly. They prove that quality products will always be winners.
