good fake ball

Good for outside use. harder than the soft foam ones giving you a more true ball flight.

Great for general indoor/outdoor practice

The media could not be loaded. These are really great for indoor practice. I originally bought them so I could practice chipping in my apartment, but they are much lighter than normal golf balls and it was throwing off my touch. Luckily they are soft enough that I can take full swings in my apartment and work on my trajectory off contact without worrying about breaking anything. There is a pretty large variance in squishiness. The picture below is me applying roughly the same amount of pressure to the softest and hardest balls in the bunch I got. Most are pretty similar (and on the firmer side), but some are noticeably different. All that said, they are great for working on trajectory. They will respond to spin more than a normal golf ball because they are lighter, so I don't recommend them for fine tuning, but for general practice, they are perfect.

Excellent for those days your not on the course but there is a retention pond near by :)

My son and I use these practice balls. We have a retention pond (all grass obviously) at the end of our street and its impractical to practice with real golf balls so we take these. We can tee off or hit from the grass without any worry, the pond area is large enough to hit from one end to the other without fear of hitting a car (and even if we did manage it, they would just bounce right off leaving no damage) Great way to practice for sure. you can put full swings out there and hone your skills without worry. Nice orange color also works in the grass when it has not been cut.

Good Deal. We have limited space to play

Good Deal. We have limited space to play. However, we have enough to vary hole distances with the Almost Golf play anywhere targets. We can't use Almost Golf balls at home course. That is where these work best. 7 iron carries about 45 yds. Perfect for our setup. Almost Golf ball will go almost 20 yds farther. Anyway, these balls are generally real 33% distance, so you can make full swings in a smaller area. The only fault with these is they are of inconsistent firmness. Some soft, some hard. The hard ones can fly way too far. I like the softer ones for playing an 80 yd par 4. If you can get to a park to play, I would recommend the Almost Golf balls. I am satisfied with my purchase, but they are not batch consistent in production that go out to customer. If you need 33% flight balls, these fly just like a real ball. Just hit the softer ones for 33% flight.

Thought these were like almost golf balls but no just foam balls. Different Consistency small are super soft and some are harder. Don’t buy
