Different color from previous order

Preferred this set to complete an order I placed in 2020. The tone is slightly different, not 100% transparent. (Reddish) see picture I actually liked it, but if you are OCD you might not… Quality is ok, it excellent, they tend to break. (But relative to price it’s fine)

Way too Fragile

Bought these for Christmas. It's now April and I've broken 5 of the larger glasses. If you even gently lay a pot or stack more than 2 plates on top of one of these in the sink...they break. If you barely tap them...they break. If your dishes shift in the sink from filling up with water...they break. Do not buy these if you have kids. Do not buy these if you are even moderately rough with your glassware. They look nice and if you only have adults living in your house who never stack dishes in the sink...they might survive. Otherwise, buy yourself some bar glasses or anything else with thicker glass than these. They are super thinwalled and very fragile. Enjoy!

Pretty for the price. Durable? Eh...

Purchased these after much reviewing and after our first set of similarly styled glassware from a Bullseye-Themed Competitor, hoping that this would be a step up. The verdict 6 months later: ....meh? They look and feel miles better than the starter set you'd pick up at the store. The bottom is significantly weightier, helping with stability on a surface and when you hold it in your hand. They don't cloud up, even in our old grandpa of a dishwasher. This set is probably intended for more everyday use (which is how we're using it), but it's a classy enough style that you'd feel comfortable serving up a fancy drink or two. That is, of course, if you have a full set remaining by the time your guests arrive. Over the last six months, we've lost a good three of the eight taller glasses due to chipping in the dishwasher and the occasional crack if you tap them against another glass accidentally stacking them in the cupboard. Turns out these are less durable than a toothpick. The shorter glasses have fared better than their older siblings; maybe it's an issue with the strength in the middle of the glass? This is disappointing, especially considering the reputation Libbey has for glassware. I know that it's glassware we're talking about here, not WWE fighters, so I know you have to be a little more careful with them. But alas, I was hoping to get a stronger set this time around. Long story short, if you're going to go with this set, expect to buy your replacement in a year or so. (Or sooner!)

one glass broke when I was washing it

I had these glasses about a week when one broke as I was washing the inside. It cut my hand in 2 places.

Nice glasses, but one came broken.

I really like the glasses. They look nice and neat with a thick bottom. They only issue that I have is one came broken. I didn't really want to send back all the glasses to get another box with the possibility of another broken glass.

Wanted this classic look. - not at this inflated price.

Have always loved this classic look. For some unknown reason Walmart, Canadian Tire etc carry all of Libbey’s ugly glasses but not these. I had to buy them here. Horrifically overpriced. But I still love the glass.

Beware ice dispensers

The glasses themselves look great and are easy to hold. That said, as soon as I dispensed ice from our ice maker into the glass, it shattered the rim.
