Battery life 1 star
Like the lens and idk if it's just my lens but I had to put in new batteries after 1 month of use. Now 4 weeks later after I changed batteries out the red light came on again. Battery life not good at all compared to other lenses I've had. Great lens beside the Battery life.

Get the warranty because these completely fail after about 14 months
I absolutely love these lenses, clear, no eye fatigue, dependable... until they completely crap out on you. I keep mine on 13, weld 20-30 hours/ week, and it dies after 14 15 months. New batteries won't save it. Running a long bead won't recharge it. The warranty and a spare old time dark lens are essential for this purchase.

Good product and Reliable seller
This is a significant upgrade from my last lens and my last lens wasn't doing the job. I needed a new one and fast and the seller was able to ship it 4 days early for me I don't know how they did it Or if they can actually do it again but I'm thankful.

Amazing product
Awesome lens from an amazing company. This allowed me to see what I was doing so much more clearly that it significantly and rapidly improved my ability to learn how to weld in school. I put the hood facing out toward the rear of my car, resting on the back seat headrest so that it’s always getting some sun and I’ve had no battery issues using it for about 10 hours a day, 4-5 days a week. Battery replacements are super cheap if you ever do need to replace it and best of all Lincoln stands by their word for the warranty of 2 years! My 2nd Viking lens had a small defect in the top left of the lens, I emailed Lincoln customer service and 3 days later I get a new one in the mail. Hot damn that’s some stellar service and I will keep buying these for every hood I own. Update: 4 months of solid, near daily use later and still no issues with my Lincoln 4c with original batteries. Does Tig, Mig, and Stick all flawlessly. Side note: you can easily file or cut down any flip up lens adapter to accommodate this lens just make sure you sandwich it in between two clear poly plates back and front to protect it while grinding.

Lincoln is maybe better than Singles 240 HD
UPDATE: this lens is much brighter around the perimeter of the lens. If you turn your head a little it feels like safe 8 or 9 if you are on 11. The shade numbers seem to be a little off to. 11 is more like 12 and so on. It is clearer then singles 240 HD. Both are amazingly clear and are like looking at the arc as if welding wasn’t very bright and you were looking at it with the naked eye. However, to me it is the difference between sunglasses and Polarized sunglasses. You may see more light with the regular sunglasses but a lot of the light acts as interference for What you were actually trying to see. But when you put on polarized glasses you see more clearly because it only Allows the light which is helpful to come through. The Lincoln isn’t darker, it just allows you to see more clearly in my opinion because it Eliminates light interference that the singles 240 HD allowes to come through. The clear state on the singles HD is a little better But the Lincoln allows you to change the shade and in my opinion is more clear. I don’t know how long it will last because I just got it yesterday I don’t know how long it will last because I just got it yesterday. if it breaks I will update this.
