Tired of your RV rocking and swaying back and forth? Using race car stabilization technology, JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizers by Lippert use triangles — the strongest shape in nature — to eliminate unwanted chassis movement. One end of each stabilizer tube attaches to each landing gear leg and the other to your 5th wheel RV or travel trailer’s frame, forming a rigid, durable triangle. There is no welding required and no need to remove and reattach during setup. It's permanent. When parked, JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizers telescope into place with the jacks. The patented universal system is designed to attach to the three main types of jacks found on RVs: scissor, front landing gear and telescoping.Complete with three outer tubes, three inner tubes, and all necessary mounting hardware — an easy, one-time installation is all it takes to put this stabilizer kit on your RV. Which means getting rid of chassis movement, just got a whole lot easier. From wind gusts to uneven terrain, you can count on JT’s Strong Arm to help eliminate your chassis movement for a more stable, comfortable camping experience.Whether you’re on the road or on the water, Lippert supplies a broad array of premium RV, towing, and marine products designed to enhance all of your recreational pursuits. This is a great product!
Let me start by saying that I have everything possible to stabilize my 5th wheel. I have the chocks, the king pin stabilizer, and the x wheel blocks. All of the previous things I bought helped a little, but the JTs Strong Arm works. There is still a very subtle wobble, but it very little. The directions for installing the kit are garbage. Once you figure it out, it is easy and can be done in half an hour.

Good product, should've done this earlier
These work great. Best stability improvement. Already tried the other solutions such as x-chocks, etc. Looking back, should've done this first. We have three kids who all move in their sleep causing the camper to shake just enough to keep us awake at night when camping. This solved that issue. Cost is more than I wanted to pay, but, the quality is good. Installation wasn't hard, not sure how it could've been better.

finally a stable RV
Admittedly, the product seems a little too good to be true (i.e. value for money). However, this might be the best upgrade I've put on my 5th wheel toy hauler. We went from a bouncy, jiggly, wobbly experience to pretty dang stable. If you really try, you can still get some wiggle but casual family movements around the trailer aren't that noticeable. The instructions are pretty good. I did drill some unnecessary holes in a cross beam based on some erroneous "if this is your trailer, move to step X" language. It should have been step Y. The rating for "Easy to Install" suffered one star for that. The install took me an afternoon. The final note I have is that today's 5th wheel toy haulers have a lot of stuff hanging out underneath them. For example, my generator's exhaust pipe comes out just behind the front landing gear. I was a little nervous that it would be a problem. I was able to install the brace with the exhaust pipe inside the triangle. The landing gear can still come up enough to not be a problem on the road. I might do some exhaust re-routing in the future, we'll see. My point is, take a close look under your trailer and make sure there won't be things in the way. But if you are looking for an inexpensive stabilizer solution that you can install yourself, this is a good one. Or you can pay someone to install an expensive hydraulic auto-leveling system to 'one-up' everyone at the camp site.

For an RV, these are the BEST bang for the buck.
For an RV, these are the BEST bang for the buck. Once installed, nothing to have to store, or install at each camp site etc. They stay mounted on the RV. And yes, made 5th wheel lots more stable. Love it.

I picked the wrong kit
Not difficult to install. If you have 4 scissor jacks be sure to get the travel trailer kit. I just ordered 2 swivels and could only install 5 of the 6 bars today.

Product: GREAT! Instructions: CRAP!
After opening the box the JT Strongarms came in, I unpacked all of the hardware and laid it out in an organized manner so that I could get an idea of what I was dealing with. I then opened the installation manual to read the instructions. Although there are other reviews that have already covered this topic, I must state this for the record: THE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED WITH THIS PRODUCT ARE CRAP! If you want to feel as though your brain has been shrinkwrapped, frozen, and sent into an alternate dimension, attempt to follow along with what must have been written by a mechanical engineering dropout and edited by his son (who did slightly better in school and received his theater arts degree... with a D average). Seriously, I have read a fair number of technical manuals and this one is by FAR the worst. It's not as if it was written by someone who had learned English as a second language, I have read plenty of those. Usually, you can get the gist of what is being decribed farily quickly. This manual is on another level of bad. The only reason I can imagine this is written as poorly as it is is because Lippert decided to save a few bucks and farmed the writing of it out to the janitor. "Hey, you want to stop scrubbing toilets for four hours and write some words on a page? They don't really need to be comprehensible, we just need ink on paper," must have been the pitch. This is a bit harsh, but if you decide to buy these, you'll get the thrilling opportunity of trying to imagine all of the hardware and brackets that come with the kit assembled in a way that would frighten David Lynch. Save yourself the mind-bending agony and watch the YouTube video. It's fifteen minutes long and is WELL worth it. The product itself is fantastic. I spent about three hours from beginning to end; that includes half an hour fruitlessly attempting to obtain intelligible instructions from the manual and fifteen minutes watching the YouTube video. The only reason I gave four stars is (you guessed it) the pathetic excuse for an instruction manual. Other than that, if you have a shaky fifth wheel, this is the cat's meow.

Really made a difference. Slightly technical install
I have travel trailer but used 5th wheel kit. Had to fab one tab for a few bucks and my welder. My trailer has fuel tank and generator and full underbelly. There is also a spare tire to work around. I got creative. Really helped with side to side movement. Overall very pleased. Worth all the money. I put it off for a while but should really come standard. Especially on taller trailers. Mine is grand design travel trailer but very tall.

Patience grasshopper
After watching the videos many times I decided to purchase and do it myself. They work as advertised and reduced 5th wheel movement to 95% of previous. Take your time and you won’t have an issue unless your gen exhaust goes out the side like mine. I do recommend new drill bits.

Great product
Wow, this system was amazing. Once we watched videos on installation it wasn't bad at all. The only down fall is the instructions it comes with. It stopped 80% of the wobble in the front of our 5th wheel.

Well worth it
These stabilizers were well worth it, install was fairly straight forward with help of the JT strong arm YouTube video of course, the instructions that are provided are worthless. Went with the self tapping bolts that were provided where I had no access to the enclosed under belly, they are not really self tapping, had to use the correct tap size for these to work properly and had no issues. Would definitely recommend as these do reduce a substantial amount of side to side movement.

A must get!!!!
This product is exactly as it says! We have a 43ft fifth wheel and you could push on it and it would shake. After installation no movement at all! Great product!

Installation
I mounted this product on a 28' 5th wheel with electric jacks. Installation on the front legs was as advertised except for my front mounted spare tire which had to be repositioned. I only used two stabilizers on the front since I do not have a front to back movement issue. Maybe a 4 arm package should be an option. The challenge came on the rear because I have a hitch. DON'T try to drill the hitch structure. You will waste a number of drill bits and lots of time since the steel is hard. I was saved by a softer fish plate re-enforcement on the hitch where I finally mounted the swing bolts. If you have an insulated floor and a hitch you will need part #314597 Jack Pad Adapter Kit or the rear jack legs will not be able to retract fully. Mine is on the way. Make sure you assemble the tool list, you will use every item at some point. Youtube indicates 1 hour installation, I would allow for 1.5 - 2 hours. Otherwise , great product and no more movement!

Very Pleased with this Purchase
Very pleased with this purchase. The strong arms installed easily and took almost all of the movement out of our fifth wheel. I also like how easy they are to use. I should have purchased these for my prior fifth wheel.
