Lights up a Lot of Space

This light is very bright and lights up a lot of space. I have it mounted 12ft up on the barn. It works well and is what I had hoped for when I ordered it.

Another quality light from Lithonia

This is the second Lighonia light I have used. It is obviously built to contractor quality with a metal housing and well designed lighting unit. The light output is moderate, but very well distributed to make an even circle around our 40' parking area from a height of about 12'. Personally, I don't like overlit parking areas, especially near a house. This unit as about as bright as it should be. My only complaint is the lack of any user instruction. For example, there is a little shutter over the photocell, apparently for adjusting the dark level turn on, but no clue as to how to do it. If you are an experienced contractor, no problem, but some DIY people might find it confusing. The product is high quality and it would be even better with a little help on instructions.

Easily installed, nice and bright.

Installed easily. Good bright outdoor light. I didnt see any instruction on making it motion detection which i didnt need but the description said it was.

Small and effective

So this is smaller than you might expect, so check out my pictures for scale, but it is really bright and works great. You will need to wire it, which is just a basic 3-wire setup. It is sturdy and the whole thing feels well made with the exception of the light adjustment. The adjuster is just this janky rotating cover that obscures part of the photoeye to block more or less light to make it more or less sensitive. It actually works though. It's just low-tech and doesn't feel great. Otherwise, this thing is great. I put it up outside my chicken coop to see what I'm doing in the early mornings and late at night.

Super Bright!

This outdoor LED light was very easy to install. The light turns on at sunset through sunrise (ish) but that's the setting I have it on. You can adjust the setting as to how sensitive you want it and the lights will turn on/off depending on your setting. Very efficient as far as my electric bill. I did not know the light was going to be this bright, it looks a little silly on the side door of my house but I'd rather more light than less light. Plus I work till midnight so I can actually see when I unlock the door. I can always turn the light off from the light switch inside my house. Great value!

Ordered the wrong light.

We could not properly install the light because of the house stucco. I should have read the specs before ordering it. Shipping was fast. We did plug it in and it is motion detecting as well as a great amount of light. And the price is really good for the quality of this light. I wish we could have used it.

Small sized bright light!

Small lightweight size. Gives good light for such a small unit. This is a dawn to dusk light not motion sensing. It has a photo cell adjustment, which is nice if you have another nearby light that causes issues like I do, or just want it to control how dark it is before it turns on.

Wow, what a bright light!

This light is awesome! I had a different light on the pole in my front yard that stopped working so I decided to try this LED light to replace it, great decision. This light is much brighter than the previous one and lights up a large area of the yard at my front gate. It was easy to install too and it had everything I needed to hook it up. I already had power at the pole for the old light which made it easier and the spacing of the bolts from the old light bracket was the same as the new light so I didn’t even have to drill new holes. I’m a woman and installed the light myself; the worst part was climbing up that ladder! Great light, now let’s hope it lasts a long long time!
