Good value kit

Just what we needed for our kiddo's grooming regimen. The organizer inside the case is not so great or sturdy, which deducts a star. But all the grooming items themselves have worked out well. Recommended.

Little Chicks Grooming Kit

The thing I love most about this little grooming kit is the solid, plastic case it comes in. Sounds silly I know, but it's so, SO helpful when you're trying to keep things organized. It fits everything that came with the kit plus other small items. I use it to store my daughter's hair ties, additional comb and tiny hair clips. There's plenty of room! It opens and closes easily with the little plastic snap. Typically with grooming kits for babies the quality is iffy. I've purchased ones in the past that were practically useless and the items broke right away. I've received a few items from the Little Chicks brand lately and just like all the others this one is well made and durable. Items included: · Hairbrush- with a thick plastic handle that is easy to grip. The bristles are thick and very soft. These brushes are perfect for newborns with hardly any hair to toddlers with really think, fine hair. The thing I hate about this type of hairbrush is they collect so much dust and are nearly impossible to clean. But since this one comes with a case I don't have to worry about that! Major plus! · Comb- I love that the bottom half of this comb has a nice, rubber grip. Usually combs don't have a handle at all, making them slip out of your grasp easily. This one has thick, plastic bristles that won't break easily. · Toothbrush- I've never in my life used a toothbrush that was included in a grooming kit. They're typically flimsy and poor quality. But I actually replaced my daughter's old toothbrush with this one because I like it so much. The bristles are thick and very, very soft. The handle is plastic and durable enough that my daughter can chew on it (she's teething) without breaking through. · Nail clippers- these are great quality! The blade is sharp and cut right through my kid's finger and toenails. It's a little slippery though. There's no sort of grip on the handle so I constantly had to readjust so that I didn't drop them or cut my kid's finger on accident. · Tiny scissors (for nails?)- I'm assuming these are supposed to be used to cut finger nails but I've never cut nails this way so I don't use them. They are sharp and seem durable. · Nail files- like a mini version of a regular nail file. These are adorable! They work well too! Not as good as a normal nail file but they're slightly more gentle which is good since they're meant for little kids. This is definitely a top quality product. Perfect to buy for yourself or it would make a great baby shower gift!
