They are as shown

These are just as shown in the illustration, even though the written description is somewhat contradictory. They are made from a tough, translucent plastic (nylon? polypropylene?) and enable a walker to slide more easily over carpets & hard floors. Usually you would want wheels in the front & something like these in the back. They have worked well for me and are much better priced than comparable items. I give them 4 rather than 5 stars because they were a little loose when first installed; I had to put some tape around the plug portion to get them to fit firmly in the metal leg of the walker. Bottom line: if this is what you need, it's a good price.

Fit perfect on a pink walk about , for your aging mum. Much better than stupid tennis balls. Come on people, give your elders some fun and a bit of class. AND DON'T CALL IT A WALKER.

Gorgeous blue skis

These work great and the color is pretty....but I thought from the photo that I'd be getting one pair of each 4 colors. $16 was a bit steep for one set of skis. Had this been more clear, I'd rate them a 5. To be clear, you get ONE SET OF SKIS in this package.

Durable and Great Value

I have purchased many different brands and styles of glides and these are by far the best quality and value. They are long lasting, still going strong even after 6 months of heavy use in everything from grass to snow to gravel. The price is incredible. Shipping is unbelievably fast; only 2 days from order to in my hands. Company even sends a discount coupon for your next purchase from them. Best deal on the market.

Great Product!

Wish we had known about these sooner. My dad turns 100 this year and needs his walker to get around. These walker glides help him maneuver great over rugs, tile, laminate, carpet, and even over dog toys lying on the floor. His walker is much quieter now too - it doesn't have the whiney squeek it had when he had the walker plugs in before installing the new glides. Works great - highly recommend!

Last longer than what I purchased at drugstore but I had to change the type of glides because they stretched the poles to the point these fell out.

works just as well as the more expensive types

I bought these and also the more expensive type that has screw on the bottom to tighten for installation for my mom. The expensive types broke and have been thrown away. I am still using these. I also had to change walkers and was able to twist these back out and reuse them on the new walker. No reason to pay more.
