Great product
Purchased to try to prevent contracting poison oak/ivy. Worked like a charm. Sleeves reached up above elbows, protected arms completely from contact. previously, I got PO/PI every time i worked in the wooded area, no matter how hard i tried to avoid or what i was wearing. Sleeves are a little hot when temperature is warm, but better a little sweat for a couple of hours than the insane itching and discomfort from PO/PI rashes. Highly recommend. Also great for protecting arms from scratches when working on other trees/shrubs, especially roses.

Make it available to purchase a pair
Like the arm guards in our rose garden helps from getting hurt by a thorn , we thought we we're purchasing a pair when only one sleeve came , so had to order another sleeve to make a pair . Maybe you could try selling in pairs for the price of 2 sleeves that way we wouldn't have to order twice . Just a suggestion. Good material and they do help.

Decent protection from plant thorns
I got this to protect against my raspberry thorns while weeding. I needed the better dexterity of a regular garden glove (vs. a leather, elbow-length glove) to get the weed roots up, but my arms are always a victim when I do that because they bump against the brambles. If I brushed a bramble, these worked fine to prevent a scratch, but if a weed came up suddenly and I hit the thorns a bit harder right-on, they went right through. I don't look like I got in a fight with an alley cat, but definitely felt a few pricks. They also got entangled with the thorns a bit, so I had to hold the bramble to extract myself without just tugging it with me. I do think they will be helpful for harvesting (which has to be done bare-handed) where I am moving a bit more carefully most of the time.

Good Enough
I got this to wear when moving firewood - I line a few sticks up along my arm to carry several at a time. I usually end up with cuts and splinters. This gives the "extra" protection needed for my arm and my jacket.

Feels like the material of a high quality sweatshirt. Wouldn't consider them EXTRA wide.
The media could not be loaded. I am a bit puzzled by these ... I expected them to come with some sort of mesh-type lining inside, but they look and feel like the material of a high quality sweatshirt ... like a Champion reverse weave. They are two layers of material and the weave is pretty tight ... but my overall take is that I don't know how much more protection they would give you vs. simply wearing a good sweatshirt. These come ONE PER ORDER ... so you will need to order two of them if you want a pair. As for the cut protection ... don't expect these to protect you from power tools, hedge trimmers, pole saws or chainsaws. These seem more made for gardening, working with clawed animals or light scratch-inducing activities. Candle making, deep frying or other hot liquid spraying things. I am a big dude ... former football player ... 6'3, 230 lbs. so I ordered the wider size and the longest length they had. They fit me fine, although I am on the leaner side of large (think tight end vs. offensive line). The only issue I have with the fit is that they do slide down a bit while wearing during activity. I like that they have a fingerless glove sort of fit because I can wear protective gardening gloves over them without losing dexterity. I wouldn't really consider them EXTRA WIDE in that if you have thicker arms, these could be very tight and uncomfortable. I put it through a small test using a really sharp chisel and a pair of semi-sharp scissors. As you can see in my video and photos, the chisel poked through the material ... in fairness, the edges are super sharp. So this would not protect you incredibly much against and errant tool/knife poke. They fared better with the scissors ... it would not cut through the material. If the scissors were razor sharp, I am guessing the result would have been different but the tight weave of the fabric and two layers moving on top of each other were somewhat protective. Would I wear these as protection while operating a moving blade such as a hedge trimmer, weed wacker or electric saw? No. I will use them on hot summer days when I am trimming my bushes or cutting back thorny vines and don't want to wear a thick sweatshirt. I don't see a huge need for these but for gardeners, pet groomers or those who work a hot oil frying station, they could serve a purpose.

Good against plant thorns. Has some issues.
I got this to protect my right arm from plant thorns. It measured 20” long from end to end when I took it out of its packaging but became about 1.5” shorter when I slipped over my arm. This sleeve also covers the lower part of my palm. But I have to wear a glove under this sleeve because the stitching around the thumb hole is rough and irritates the area around the base of my thumb.

Just Right
I ordered 1 just to see how it fits as it says x-wide. Other glove reviews say they snug fit/too narrow. I have skinny arms and this glove fits fine. So I will be ordering a 2nd one.
