Brought back happy memories

This was an order that was the result of a random memory from childhood. My dad used to always bring these home to me from his business trips and my friends, my age remember these. Was glad to find the original that I had when I was little because they also make them with different faces, I believe now. Sometimes moving the little magnetic shavings around takes a little bit of practice to get them placed where you want them, but was happy to add it to my nostalgic toy pile. Just be sure to open the area carefully that holds the “pen” so that you don’t lose it. It will sit snuggly in that slot after opening, as long as you are, just careful with the perforations

Worked just like I remember it from childhood! Old School meets New School

Now, unfortunately, Wooly Willy and I grow the same type of beard. Fortunately, this was a great way to teach my 9-year-old son about magnetism and how a compass works. Wooly Willy was a feature in our Science Fair project regarding North and South poles. Every kid should have one!

Grandkids loved it!!!

Had this as a child / my kids had one. So of corse I had to send one to my grandkids. They loved them. Any old fashioned toy is well worth the money. They have spent many hours playing with them. BUY THEM!!!

Memories

Had this when I was a kid. Got it for my 5 year in his stocking for Christmas and he likes it a lot. However make sure to put the pen somewhere safe or make sure it's in there goof because if you loose that the whole thing is useless

It’s a great concept and it takes me back to my childhood. However, I think the packaging sucks. I think that the magnet is not strong enough and I think that they should do a little tweaking and editing so that maybe the pencil is attached to it I don’t know.
