Uneven Neckline and Boxy Fit

"When your u-neck used to be your v-neck". I purchased this shirt in 2 colors and they were the same. The neck looked stretched and uneven. Positives are that it's lightweight and not see-through; however, even with tieing the back, it's a boxy fit. The length was mid-hip as pictured. I'm a 12/14 and the Large fit fine.
