Fantastic quality but beware run small
The quality and yummy softness on the inside and warmth are great!! Just got them today and ordered a Large and my hands are not large by any means and the fingers are tight and I might have to return them due to there do not seem to be any XL in these gloves. I am sad they are tight because they are well made. My Palm length from base of my middle finger to where palm meets wrist is only 4 inches, from left to right on my palm is 3.25 inches and length of my middle finger is 3 inches. so I wish the finger width on glove was just a wee bit bigger.. gloves are tight on my fingers and I do not have large fingers. The distance of material given from bottom of index finger to start of thumb is great if you kept your fingers bent slight all the time but if you want to open your hand and fingers it pulls on this part a little. If only there was an XL I'd be in a happy place.

Wasn’t as warm as I hoped.
I used these gloves in very severe cold (-20F) and around freezing (32F) and they were just okay in any sub zero temps. My palms were fine, but my fingers were still numb and cold after a few minutes. Disappointed.

Warm and soft glove.
Love these gloves! Kept my hands warm skiing in single digit weather. I was upgrading my Marmot gloves that had lasted for years so I'm pretty sure they're a good quality!

Best, warmest gloves I've ever owned
I believe they are designed for outdoor sports but I bought them for winter walking outside, shoveling snow, and walking the dogs. Worth the money.

Very Bulky and unconfortable
Well made, good quality, but very uncomfortable and bulky. I was not able to articulate my fingers/buckle up by boots when wearing those. I did not use them on ski slopes yet.

Careful with sizing (size chart here)
Measure your palm across the bottom knuckles (at the base of your fingers). Wrap a measuring tape around and see what you get. I was surprised to see that in my house, the only one of us who could actually fit in these size "S" gloves was my 9 year old daughter. Even the 12 year old had hands that measured medium, and I, a very medium size woman, apparently have large hands by this size chart. So be super careful! Here's what Marmot says, from their website: XS 5.5–6" S 6–6.5" M 6.5–7" L 7.5–8" XL 8.5–9" It would have been very handy to have this size chart linked on this page, before I selected these gloves! For a frame of reference, my 9 year old has a 6.5" palm, and she's a typical child. So now she gets these "women's" gloves. Lucky her! They are beautiful gloves, and warm and waterproof. They are a little stiff and the fingers seem a little long for the overall size, but she can move her hands well. The wrist goes well past her wrist, to help keep out the cold. The leather palms allow for grip on the ski poles, and the buckle can be cinched to keep out the cold. The inside is very, very soft. These are very functional and warm gloves, perfect for keeping hands warm on the slopes.
