Less than impressed

I actually expected a lot better from a combination lock. I mean, come on, these things are everywhere--how hard can they really be to manufacture quickly and easily? The price is a bit low, I will say, but given the number of people who have used and liked this brand, I expected to receive a lock that is much higher quality that what I received. The color is nice, though. I ordered the "randomized" color version, which I guess means that they will send you whatever color they want or whatever is available? I ended up with blue, which was a pretty color. Bit of an odd way to sell combo locks, but again, for the price, I was willing to give it a go. The lock's construction is pretty poor, though, and I do wish I'd gone with a more expensive (but better-constructed) option. The parts just feel "cheap" and they wiggle a bit in a way that gives them an inexpensive feel. This also wouldn't be an issue if the thing wasn't so hard to actually unlock. I've used plenty of combination locks in my day and generally know how to work them, but this one is ridiculously finicky. Sometimes it will unlock on the first try, sometimes on the sixth, most times after 2 or 3 tries. It takes me a while every time to open it, and more often than not the wheel will become harder to turn as I'm trying to unlock it. It seems like it gets stuck between attempts and does not register the notches I turn to. It's more of a pain than anything else, but it does keep my locker secure and it looks decent, so I'll give some credit for that. If this is something you'll be using regularly at all, though, do yourself the favor, save yourself the hassle, and spring for something even just a few bucks more expensive. I really believe it'll be much better than what you get here.

Can read without glasses

Purchased to use at gym where I swim...lock is great and I can read without my glasses. The lock however, does not fit in the hole for the lockers.....

Exactly as described

I can't see anything closer than arms length without my glasses. With this lock if I put my face close to it I can unlock my locker without my glasses. This is a huge benefit since I don't wear my glasses into the pool at the gym.

Did the job i bought it for. Only lasted 2 days, but that was the point.

Needed a lock with a red dial on it to play a prank on a co-worker. Used this one to replace a broken one that co-worker was using. Was hilarious when he started to run around looking for bolt cutters to be able to get into his locker to get ready for work :)

Lock Color Wrong

I ordered a bright green lock and received a red lock. Why offer color choices if you're going to send whatever color you want? I'm unhappy about that. On a positive note, the lock works as expected.

vERY eASY TO rEAD

Very easy to read. I no longer need my glasses. I use it when locking things up at the Gym. I think it is very sturdy for what I need it for. It comes preprogrammed with a code and I have put the code in a secure place just in case I ever need it.

Easy to use

Great lock, love using it for the gym and work. Was lucky and got a pretty pink lock. Unfortunately you can't choose the colour but if you need a lock it works pretty well!

Exact same lock that would normally cost $12. At half the price it’s an easy choice. I will however say that in terms of quality, these Master locks feel cheaper in their construction. They still work fine, but for example turning the dial isn’t as smooth as some other brands. I’ve used these before though and they do the job, would not be worried about people getting into my locker.
