Good Sun Stick

The sun stick I ordered is the non-tinted kind. It does leave a white cast, but goes away after rubbing it. I used it more as a reapplication through out the day. It’s a pretty good sun stick. Very easy to apply around the eyes.

Good enough for eyelid eczema

I wanted a stick tinted sunscreen that I could use around my eyes. I have eczema around my eyes and the ointment i use for it (tacrolimus) makes my skin extra photosensitive. This product doesn't have much tint really but it doesn't hurt or cause burning on eczema skin. Doesn't sting eyes BUT it does get into the eyes because it melts with your body temp unlike other sunscreen sticks that stay put such as Vertra. When it gets into my eyes it feels like a blurry film and it's annoying. So I'll go back to my trusty Vertra

Great product; wish it was a little better value

Would love to see a larger stick for this price or drop the price a bit for this size. Great quality and my child has been using this since she was a baby…but I am reluctant to send this to school with her as I suspect it won’t last long and for this price I need to get more product.

I've used this on my face for years - no tears!!!

This is a mineral sunscreen that I use mostly on my face under makeup, though I also use it to cover my butterfly tattoo to prevent color loss if I'm out in the sun. It leaves a faint white cast, but it rubs in easily. This is the only sunscreen I've tried on my face that doesn't make my eyes sting all day. Other sunscreens that I've used on my face have migrated down my forehead on hot days and/or when I'm sweating - and I don't have air conditioning at work so it's a common issue for me. When I have gotten other sunscreen products in my eyes I felt like my eyeballs were on fire for the rest of the day! (That's also a problem for my eye makeup because I end up tearing up and smearing everything - even waterproof eye makeup - and I know it's not an issue with my makeup because other sunscreen products have caused irritation even when I'm not wearing makeup.) This is the only product I've tried that hasn't ever irritated my eyes. Every time I've tried a different sunscreen for my face I've ended up going back to this one. I've been using MDSolarSciences Mineral SunScreen Stick SPF 40 daily on my face for years without any tears, eye irritation - or sunburn.

No messy hands!

I really like it! Helps me to avoid washing hands when I’m out and about since it’s in a stick and I don’t need to apply by hand. Zinc/mineral based sunscreens are sticky, and this one is not bad at all. Not white which is huge! makes my face look a little dewy (not shiny). Really like it so far.

Love it!

I have been useing their tinted cream as a foundation for years. Now I am also very happy with this new applicator version. I feel the cream has more opaque coverage while this applicator product goes on a bit more sheer. Each one is great and I will use them both for different occasions.
