Durable and Dependable
I'm 64 and mom is 84; we live together in an older home where the rooms and doorways are smaller than newer homes. Last month mom fell in the hall and broke her hip. After surgery and rehab we were sent home with a standard walker. The walker keeps her safe but she has a hard time getting it through the narrow doorways to the bedroom and bathroom. The walker will fit through the doorways but I wanted something that kept her stable, rolled easily and would get in and out of the doors easier so I purchased this item. The item arrived quickly and on time. The item was a snap to put together for this technically challenged woman...what a relief! The item is made of quality material and is very sturdy. It rolls very easily and smoothly. It's attractive with a handy bag and easy to use basket that sits atop, along with a very handy tray. The hand brakes are easy to use, which is a good thing for my mom who has severe arthritis. The four-wheel walkers are too fast and tend to get away from mom; she has Parkinson's so she can not keep up with the four-wheel walkers that have the seats. This three wheel rollator is absolutely perfect to assist mom with her walking. It rolls smoothly but doesn't get ahead of the person using it. The bummer is the back wheels are a bit fat, which makes for a smooth roll, but it also makes it difficult to get through our small doorframes so I keep this item in the car for when we go out to eat or shop. I love that the item is compact and light. I can easily pick it up with one hand! Mom needs to recline her car seat to give her relief for her back and with that small space in the backseat I can easily store the rollator. The wheels can handle any type of terrain effortlessly. I worry when mom uses a cane as she might wobble and top over. The standard walker is safer than a cane but she clump-clumps along slowly, with the rollator she keeps a normal walking pace and walks with great ease. We have returned to our routine of going out to eat and shopping. I simply get out, take out the rollator, set it in front of her and off she goes! I'm not stressed out worrying about her stability or her ability to walk a normal pace so she doesn't hold up traffic too long. This rollator has given mom her independence and it has given me peace-of-mind. Worth every single penny!

Replacement for Nova Rollator; too wide to fit through doors
We had a Nova for a year and the wheel axle went out. Although it seemed solidly made. Decided to give this one a try. Definitely lighter weight construction -- wheels, framing, etc -- and hence why so much cheaper. Biggest problem we did not pick up on. The Medline is 4" wider than the Nova. So wide it will not fit through bathroom and walk-in closet doors. Barely makes it through the regular doors -- definitely is going to bang / chip the door frame near the wheel axles. Wheels are a lot less sturdy construction. Hopefully they will last as long, if not longer, than the 1 year we used the Nova.

Classy looking, quite solid, v easy to maneuver, easy to pack in car.
The aluminum version would be much lighter for a smaller person, but the steel is strong and stable for a larger framed person.Basket and storage is a real plus.

you must be very careful with this walker
I like it but I leaned on one side to much and it tipped over to the floor with me

Medline 3 wheel rollator: Screws missing/ did not fit. I was able ones I have on hand.
Like: Wheels move easily; tray and basket helpful to move several items in one trip. Small size fits through doorway. CAN be used in place of Walker - careful- not steady enough to lean full weight Comment: When using on Carpet - items on top tray tip over easily, such as: Coffee, Water bottes, etc, A replacement for using in place of a Walker, but not for heavy, sturdy support.
