Not what you got at the hospital

This product is not what you are looking for if you are wanting an extra 4 panel binder to switch out the one you received when leaving the hospital. It is not even close to the same quality. In desperation, I wore it so the other could be washed. Now I can't send it back.

Velcro no longer adheres to rest of binder

I have ordered this binder before and it lasted for at least 2 years before it began to wear out. This one is only about 4 months old and the Velcro strip no longer stays securely attached when I wrap it around my abdomen, making it useless. I have followed the washing instructions (wash by hand and air dry). I guess I won’t be purchasing this specific binder in the future.

The finish on the item is lacking.

As the item uses velcro closures, its important to make sure that the fabric underneath the "hook" part of the velcro is covered by fabric. For this item that's not the case. At this time, I cannot use it as the hard plastic of the velcro is digging into skin no matter how I fit the binder. If I reverse the way I fit the binder, it pulls on clothing and could possibly tear a shirt as well. Just not put together well.

outstanding quality and comfort

Due to numerous abdominal surgeries my husband has to wear a binder/belt all the time. He had been getting them from the VA but the quality of those has gotten so poor I decided to order some for him. I wish I had done this 2 yrs ago. These belts are so comfortable- he mentions this almost every day. They fit snug but have some give due to the stitching between the sections. They are soft to the skin and very adjustable. I hand wash them and line dry as I have always done with this type binder.

Didnt last long

Once or twice adjusting it or get it caught on your nail or ring when dressing and the part that connects the panels rips to pieces leaving a gaping hole. I have been wearing these types of binders for a while and this is not one I would invest in if you need it to last more than a few wears. I think mine was ripped within 3 wears. The elastic is good quality but the design is faulty.
