Perfect Toy for Granddaughter!

My 2-1/2 year old granddaughter loves her dress up Minnie and Daisy set. The pieces are large enough for her to handle and the magnetic pieces make for easy and fun play. She wants to be independent and this toy set enables her to change the outfits on her own. The pieces and the box are typical Melissa & Doug toys...wooden and sturdy. The box not having a cover is not an issue for us. This set makes for a simple, wonderful toy for a toddler.

Granddaughter loves these

She loves dressing and mixing up the outfits. Great for 4yo for imaginative play. Get the pair and not just Minnie which I did so now she has 2 Minnies and 1 Daisy and lots of clothes changes! Melissa and Doug toys are all great quality!

No lid?

I purchased this for my granddaughter for her second birthday and we opened it today to play with it. She is having a blast with this toy and I can see lots of hours of playtime with it. But upon opening, I was surprised that there is no lid. All the pieces come in a nice wooden box but I am going to need to throw this box away because it is unusable without a lid. Seems like an extra expense on the companies part and extremely wasteful. This is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Cute!

This is really a great gift for a toddler. Make sure to keep track of the pieces though, a little easy to lose. My dog used them as chew snacks unfortunately.

Representation at its best.

I gave this to my 3 year old for Christmas. She opened it up today and I am sitting here crying tears of happy for her. My 3 year old wears glasses and LOVES Minnie and Mickey and the gang. When I bought this I had NO idea that this one little piece was in there, let alone would make me understand why representation in our kids toys is SOOOOO important. For me to hear "Momma, she looks like me!" was so huge and one I never thought about before today. So HUGE thank you to Melissa & Doug for making this beautiful dress up toy. Thank you for this one little piece that meant the world to us.

Great Toddler Gift

Great gift for an older toddler. There aren't a ton of pieces but enough to give it decent play value. Magnets hold strong enough to play with the characters. I just wish the shoes didn't have feet in them so that they could be interchangeable, there's only 2 pairs each. The stands don't hold the characters straight up and as usual, great wooden box but NO LID. WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU, MELISSA AND DOUG? Who stores toys in lidless trays?

Fun for the kids!

I loved paper dolls as a child! This is so much more durable, and magnetic ! Love the Melissa and Doug brand! And I loved playing with the twins with this toy,…as much as they! Great that there was two dolls to dress! Great buy!

I love this toy. It keeps my toddler occupied. But I have to keep an eye as some parts are small and could be potential choking hazards.
