This Gift Was Really Loved

This truck set is greatly loved by our two-year-old because there's something to do with it: pick up cars. Definitely worth the money - he has lots of others cars and trucks but this is unique.

Kind of small

It's a Melissa and Doug so the quality is excellent, the truck is smaller than i thought it would be. My 4 yr old nephew opened it and first thing he said is "it's little".

For little boys who loves cars

Gave it to my God on. I was a little apprehensive since it doesn't have a motor, it was wooden and only blocks, but he played with it, and loved it. So go team XD. It's for any little boy who likes cars and parents who don't want to giv the world more plastic toys. It's sturdy and will last generations.

The magnet is......very weak.

This is cute. Its built with the quality you'd expect from Melissa and doug. But the magnet that "picks up" the cars is a joke. Even if you're really careful the cars fall right off. My 18 months. Old is fine because he doesn't use it anyway, but an older child who wants to move the cars around with the magnet might be disappointed. Im probably going to buy a button magnet and glue it on.

Grandson loved this!

I love wood toys and the magnetics on these is a big plus. My grandson is 2 and he played and played with this. He even took a few cars into the bath- which I was worried may not be a good idea because I would scared the wood would swell but it did not. I highly recommend this toy! Great quality for the price!

Great toy - taking one star off because a couple areas that lack the quality I expect in a wood toy: the crane is made of thin wood that is quite delicate, and the car wheels are flimsy also. The actual wood of the cars and trucks are great, and the toy has provided hours of fun play. Melissa and Doug is a brand that can’t quite seem to make a decision on the quality of their products - some aspects are solid and well-made, but they don’t follow through, and use crappy parts that seriously effect the quality of whole item.

Great, well-made toy!

It's the kind of quality that you would expect from Melissa and Doug. I honesty didn't think that it would hold their attention (2 and 4 yr old boys) but they actually played with it often. The ability to pick up the smaller cars with the magnets was a big hit. As well, I was a bit concerned about the magnets falling out, they are very securely in the toy, they are not going to fall out.
