Very nice set, but too expensive without mugs..

The graphics look good. The resolution is about as good as I would expect for something that's not hand painted. Up close you can see the dot matrix or whatever they used when printing. These plates have held up well through several uses, hand washings, and dishwasher cycles. The graphics have remained as clear and saturated as they were new. I was kind of surprised by how lightweight these are based on their look. The dishes are not has heavy as porcelain, but they don't feel so light that they come across cheap, like plastic. The size of the larger plates is fine. A tad smaller than I would've liked. At this price point I feel like a set of mugs should've been included. It's unusual, in my opinion, that a set would be offered without them. At the time of writing this review, the price of this set was $119.99. As said, I think at this price point some mugs should've been included, so without them I think this set is priced too high.

Beautiful set

I got this set to use in our second home. I would not use it as my best china, but it looks very nice as a complete set. It's not too heavy, just has the right feel. We like that it's chip resistant and look forward to many years of use. Easy to clean as it's dishwasher safe. Happy with the purchase.

Elegant and sturdy dinnerware set✨

Mikasa seaside coastal dinnerware set is beautifully crafted bone china. It's a sturdy dinnerware set. I love the coastal seaside print. Its strong and durable chip resistant set. Yet it's lightweight to use.unlike a stoneware but not as light as correlle. Dishwasher safe and microwave safe. Price could be high on my opinion though.

Beautiful

These are beautiful. You can see they are printed and not painted, but you have to be very close to really notice it. They are heavier than Corelle, but lighter than stoneware. Bone China has an inherent elegance than neither can touch. They arrived well packaged and undamaged.

Beautiful dinnerware with an attractive pattern

When I received this dinnerware, I was surprised with how thin it was. I was concerned that it was going to be too fragile, that it was going to break easily. I was wrong! We have put these in the microwave and the dishwasher and they have come out looking brand new. They are very lightweight, unlike stoneware. I was concerned, because we aren’t always very gentle with our dishes, that they would be chipped and broken in no time. They have held up extremely well for the past couple of months. The pattern has not worn off at all and I have been very happy with these. I use them all the time as daily dinnerware .

These are stunning

I plan to give these to my son for an upcoming birthday, as he is finishing his internship and starting "real life" with a place of his own. He loves the symbolism of lighthouses, so these are absolutely perfect. The design looks amazing, and laid out on the table, it is really pretty. He won't care much about the pretty part. But as part of his job, he will have people over for planning sessions and such. He loves the idea of setting a table that doesn't look like a male college student. The pieces are fairly lightweight, unlike so much of the stoneware types of dishes out there now. But they are not so light that they are flimsy. These are solid and seem durable. I love that these are dishwasher safe, though I don't have a dishwasher so I couldn't test that out. The dishes are a good size for serving a meal.
