I'm happy with it, but...

Of course, it is inexpensive construction - chromed plastic, etc., but the light is nice and I like the look. On the wall, it doesn't look cheep, it looks better quality. The hands are black and hard to see. I literally just removed the back - one ring of screws and then an inner ring of screws. I used a labeler and cut the white label (I put a pattern on it) and stuck it on the hands. Now I can read it!. Additionally, where the pull chain for the light is located, it pulls the clock off center. I rigged a nail to keep it from doing that. The AA battery runs the clock while the light requires a plug (kind of makes sense). But I'm happy with it.

This is a fun addition to our poolhouse bar! Looks great and we love the red neon light around the face of the clock!

Clock quality issues drag down otherwise good-looking wall piece

The Girl in the Moon has always held a certain special place in the hearts of my family. My late grandfather was a longtime Miller Brewery employee, so anything our family owns from the original age of Miller TGITM advertising is held in high regard. Furthermore, I'm now the third generation of our family to live in Milwaukee and my wife has her own retro/pinup boutique here that tries to sell items that also have the accessible grace and glamour of TGITM. So wanting something affordable and retro to have in our house with TGITM, I first ordered this clock in July 2018 from a different retailer. It was a perfect fit because I also have a couple other neon signs in the room where I was putting this clock. While the clock has a great look, I was disappointed it didn't even last three years. Near the end of 2020, it stopped, and replacing the battery only somewhat helped. It would work for a while, but not only did it stop again, it was noticeable that it usually stopped when the hands were down, as in on the lower half of the clock, almost as if something gravity-wise was causing the inner-workings to have problems. I noticed, after another battery change, the clock would sometimes run if I held it upside down, but then stopped when I turned it right side up. Even delicately turning it upward and placing it on the wall such that it wouldn't stop would often result in it stopping hours later, often with the hands between 4-5 and 7-8, as in both pointed generally downward. I liked the clock enough to order the exact same one as a replacement, hoping maybe I'd just get a better one. But upon unboxing, I discovered two immediate problems: First, a piece of Styrofoam was on the inner glass. This wouldn't be a huge deal if that part of the clock was easily accessible, but it isn't. I'd have to take the thing wholly apart to get that Styrofoam out. However, I'd probably have to do that anyhow because of the second problem, which is the clock, when the minute hand is at 3, or a quarter-after the hour, has the hour hand instead showing as just *before* the next hour. No amount of messing with the time adjustment wheel on the back made this better. I'm about ready to punt, return the second clock and just get something else with TGITM for that spot in my house. It's a shame. This clock looks very nice aesthetically. The neon works fine. But it gets embarrassing having friends over to see a very nice looking clock that either is incapable of keeping proper time or not working at all.

Got this clock as a gift for the man cave. It was packaged very well, but with a few flaws on receiving. A couple of the screws were striped out on the back cover, and I had to readjust the time a few times. It is still not set properly. The hour and the minute hands were pressed so there was no movement, and it got caught up on the second hand. Sort of disappointing, and maybe shouldn't of even played with it myself. I just don't like the hassle of returns. So I would just simply say satisfied with the purchase as is.

Clock hands stick some times!

We like it a lot but the clock hands for some reason will stick! Not all the time but sometime it will!
