LED Exit Sign

Amazing Packaging and Delivery, Great product and fittings

Not quite what I was looking for...

...but that wasn't exactly its fault. I want to provide some information (especially since there is no existing review for this product), but please understand that I'm not technical and take into consideration that because of that I had to return the product and haven't really 'used' it. We were looking for a nice, green Exit light that would be self-contained (power and light), would attach directly to the wall from the back, and was at the 'right' price (since this is purely for novelty and decoration, not as a safety need). While this description says wall, side, and top, as best I could tell from the limited instructions and design you can only mount from the sides or top, not from the back. (Again, maybe I did something wrong but I there are specifically placed holes that work with the mount, and they were only on the top and sides.) As far as design goes, very nice and very sturdy - just very limited instructions so make sure you have a basic understanding of where those wires go. :)

They work. Insurance required us to put these up in our country church...they look a little gaudy, our church is small but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. There EXIT signs and they work...what can I say? I like them (4-star), but I don't love them (5-star), :)

Good deal for an Exit sign, wish it had battery backup

Thought that it did, but must not have looked at the product description well enough. Otherwise works well and meets standards for the fire department.

Easy install and works great

Replaced our old exit sign with this LED one. Very easy to install. Lights are plenty bright. Battery backup is about half as bright as the wired brightness, but still plenty bright. I plan to replace our other exit signs with this type when they burn out.

green light is nicer

Does the job it is made for. And the green lighting is so much more ambient than the red ones. I'm glad I found this.

The batch of these items that I received had no test button, contrary to the product description. I am not sure that this is a code violation but it would sure make the annual Fire Marshall's inspection difficult. If this makes a difference to you, be sure you inspect your items carefully before you install.
