Awesome
Ultralight, packable, water resistant, breathable, looks good, and it’s great in wind. Don’t wear it in a downpour, but other than that, it’s a great multitasker that will always have a spot in my pack. This thing feels like it was made for Colorado weather.

No reason not to pack it
It is so light and packable. Does a great job at blocking wind. Perfect for hiking over a thick wool base layer down to about freezing for me.

So light but surprisingly warm..
I had gotten one of these jackets yrs ago and love it. My concerns were that it is so light and thin that I would leave it in restaurants so I bought another one. I put it in a plastic bag in my knapsack when I travel, great for planes. I'm very surprised how warm it is and the hood which barely takes up room makes it great for windy wet days. This is a must have travel jacket!! I'm a size 40 jacket and like the XL size.

this jacket has pockets !
I have been looking for a windbreaker with pockets on the sides for a long time. You would be surprised at how many ultra lightweight windbreakers that do not have side pockets. Very lightweight. Perfect jacket for packing. Not a rain jacket but light rain it would be ok. I mainly use this for backcountry camping and cycling.
