Fun but some of the clues don’t work
I enjoyed this but we had a couple issues with it. One of the primary clues, which was supposed to reveal other info essential to solving the crime, no longer works. SPOILER ALERT: It is a phone number that has apparently expired or no longer is being used. It is supposed to redirect you to a mailbox or something similar, but instead it reads you an error code that means nothing to the game. There also seemed to be a couple other smaller plot holes that weren’t quite as important but that we noticed. We still had fun but it would have been nice to have been able to play it correctly and experience all the clues properly. I’ve played a few of these case files games but this one I wouldn’t gift just because it is faulty in this way.

Promising but MISSING FILES!
Loved the premise and the variety of information/files we had to work with. There is a vague reference to being able to find more information online--you actually NEED to find information online for parts of the game (in the form of a fake instagram account and such). And then there is another set of information online that offers direct hints in the game. That there were two different kinds of information out there wasn't clear to us. Also, though, more importantly, when we got stuck and went to the HINTS, it told us to look at evidence in the box THAT WASN'T THERE. No wonder we couldn't figure it out completely. In the end, we were 80% there, but finding out that we could have fully solved it if the set had been complete was pretty frustrating. I'd try another one of these, but I'd want to know 1) that you need to go online to look at evidence 2) that you can choose to look at hints/not at hints online and 3) that there is someway to access all evidence online if something is missing from the box! (That number 3 is key!)

Team building
We used this for a team building exercise. While we didn’t solve the mystery, we had fun together as a team. You do have to go online to get additional information and clues to help solve the mystery. It was very well thought out and after we read some of the leading clues on line we had some ahah moments. Would do again.

It was fun
We enjoyed it, Lot's of fun and brain work went into solving it but it wasn't too hard that we got discouraged and stopped enjoying it. Just right on the difficulty level. I will buy more of these.

fun!
This was really fun and worth the money. Future players: one of the clues ( a phone number) doesnt work like it should so make sure you go to the website to get that clue.

Fun!
My husband ordered this “who done it” mystery detective game as a surprise for date night. Initially I was a little skeptical, but once we started reading the case file, researching the characters & discussing alibis, it was actually quite fun & challenging. The game included a variety of unique clues that required interaction & some cooperative detective work! Overall it took us about 2.5 half hours to successfully solve the case. The game has a website that allows you to check your answer at the end to see if you did, in fact, find the true killer. The website is also available throughout the game in case you get stuck or need a little nudge in the right direction. Overall I thought the game was well thought out & entertaining!

Too easy / Trop facile

Fantastic game
Bought this game to do with my mum and have to say this was a really good one to do, it definitely makes you think, this can be played as 1 player or more, mum and I do lots of these games and have to say this one was definitely one of the best ones we have played to date. I couldn't recommend this fake enough for all budding detectives! Happy solving.

Fun but confusing. Also used?
It was fun, but we thought too much and it was easier to solve than we thought. A few things are unanswered and led us to believe other things. Also, the game seemed used? There was multiple hairs in the case file as well as fingerprints and stains on the evidences and case file... gross

Great for birthday parties
My daughter had her 13th birthday so she invited a few of her friends over to play. They all thoroughly enjoyed it.
