Strong and work great

These were perfect for the removable gate on my deck. They are strong and well made. The gate is easy to lift off when we don’t need it for visiting kids and dogs.

Good value

Worked great and good value- we used a 3/8 bore bit to get them started.

Beware, the "loop" for the pin is not on center and cupped

This is a cheap casting for 3 reasons. 1) The "loop" part of the hinge varies such that the hole is not on center. If using for a lightweight, small, primitive garden gate it will be ok, but sloppy. My set of National Hardware N131-169 295 Screw Hook/Eye Hinges in Zinc Plated, 2 Pack were manufactured poorly and out of center. 2) The casting is cupped so that would cause rapid wear and variable weight distribution. 3) Wall thickness of the castings varies as you can see in the photos.
