Great value, well made, but don’t expect them to provide any usable light
This lamp is generally well made but with one issue detailed below. The pole is cast aluminum, and the sections are secured by machined threads, rather than the flimsy plastic inserts that some units like this have. The planter is a good size and looks durable. The light functions as intended. There is one issue with the design, the planter is in two sections, which are held together by 4 bayonet type connections molded into the plastic. Unfortunately the connections are very small, very weak, and are very difficult to engage before twisting the two planter sections to secure them. I had to carefully shave off slivers of plastic to make it possible to engage all four connections, and then it took two people and a lot of grunting to rotate the sections to lock them. For this reason I have deducted one star. The light itself, at its bright setting, is about equivalent to 2 candles (20 lumens), for comparison a 60 watt light bulb is about 800 lumens. You would need 40 of these lights to provide the same illumination as a 60 watt bulb. Yes, 40! I don’t offer this as a criticism, but a statement of fact. If you are looking for any illumination in your yard, this is not the right product for you, and it is unlikely that any solar powered light would work for you. You would need a solar panel the size of a 42” TV screen to give anything like usable light for several hours. I give 4 stars because the seller provided enough information for anyone to figure out this was effectively just a decorative item, and for that it is perfect. I intend to add a couple of solar powered ‘security lights’ to the crossbar, these have similar solar panels, but only stay on for a couple of minutes whenever there is motion, so the light output they can provide for that brief period is much higher, around 400 lumens, sonare great for my need.

Sturdy and solid
Great value for the money. The light is very bright and pretty at night. The planter is good and sturdy if something of weight is placed in it and the hooks are great quality. Definitely worth the price paid.

Definitely looks better than by itself
I did a thing and put together corner fences in the front yard then put in a solar lamp to make it look like we have a yard light, besides the porch light, and then today i built flower boxes inside the corner fences and put in a pretty rhododendron bush, along with a bunch of pretty annual flowers and added more solar walk way lights. Even if the solar lamps not the brightest it still make our front yard look better then what it ise to be and the overall set up of how I had put everything together just looks amazing ????

Bought this as a returned item at a discounted price, THANK YOU AMAZON!!!! UGH! My husband would've killed me for buying it at full price, and even at half price I got the side eye... then it showed up and i put it together... Instantaneously he LOVED it!!!!! He's bragging about it and everything! This thing is SO tall!!!! Seriously the best purchase and its metal and strong! Cant wait to get some cute flowers to dress it up and finish my backyard oasis build!!!

Solar Lamp post with Planter to hold 3 items
Very easy to setup, but the directions were a bit confusing. Looks very nice and looks great at night. Have two hanging plants and a third in the flower pot at the base.

Beautiful and sturdy
This was a “feel good” purchase. I had been looking at pole lights for a few years but didn’t see one that I thought was worth the money. Surprisingly, the pole is metal and the solar light has glass. The flower pot base was a little tricky to get together but the rest of it was easy.
