No more itchy flaky scalp!

For a while I've been dealing with an itchy flaky scalp that Head and Shoulders doesn't even help with. I thought at first it was because of the water at my house, but it turns out I have mild psoriasis on my scalp. After seeing reviews and making comparisons about various shampoos for psoriasis, I decided to give this shampoo a try. The price is excellent for the amount you get. I like that it lathers very well with just a small amount and the lack of fragrance is nice. It was my first time using this shampoo and I'm so pleased! For once my scalp isn't itchy plus it made my hair feel soft especially after I used my usual conditioner. I recommend leaving the shampoo on your scalp for at least 5 minutes for it to really work. I'll definitely be stocking up on this wonderful shampoo!

Get it!

I've been struggling with oily hair and dandruff my whole life. I would use head and shoulders but as of lately just feels like it stopped working. I was doing some research and found that this a result of tachyphylaxis. I was recommended to start with an exfoliant as step 1 to treat oily & dandruff. I started with the Neutrogena T/Sal Shampoo. I def noticed how SA removed a lot of the build up. I love it but because its such a small bottle I use it once a week. For a daily hair wash I find that Anti-Dandruff Daily Control also contains SA and is a much bigger bottle.

This works!!!

I love this shampoo. It works great! I have hard water and I had so much buildup in my hair. After I would wash my hair, my hair would look a feel gross and look greasy. After my first use I noticed such a change. It took out all the buildup and my hair actually looked clean. I highly recommend this shampoo for anyone that has hard water. I can't believe what a difference it's made in my hair. All my buildup is gone my only complaint is I wish I would have found this shampoo sooner.

Life Saver

I have seborrhea and currently had a really bad flare up with my scalp. I had dry patches and extreme dandruff. It has been a while since I have experienced these since I was diagnosed two years ago. I refuse to use and rely on any strong medicine especially the one my dermatologist prescribed me. So I was willing to try any products I found based on research, recommendations, and good reviews. None have worked to alleviate or rid the issue. But when I found T/Sal I was really pleased with the result. After just one use, all my dandruff was gone. This is now one of my forever essentials!

Neutrogena T/Sal Therapeutic Shampoo for Scalp Build-Up Control with Salicylic Acid, Scalp Treatment for Dandruff, Scalp Psoriasis & Seborrheic Dermatitis. I contracted psoriasis of the scalp as a bonus that comes free with Lupus. Tried the natural approach with peppermint shampoo and conditioner to no avail. I then purchased the T/SAL and the itchiness quieted, and two weeks of daily shampooing with T/CEL Cleared it. Alleluia!

IT WORKS!!

My boyfriend has been having awful dandruff flare-ups recently and also seems to have some flaky patches/redness in some areas. I had told him about this product after seeing all the reviews and he said he was willing to try it so I bought it for him. Immediately upon his first wash, the dandruff was gone. His hair looked healthy and clean that night and I could run my hand through his hair without worrying about all the flakes falling onto the bedsheets. The next morning, I checked his scalp again. There were a few tiny flakes but it was barely anything - I would have almost missed them actually if I wasn't all up close and personal in his scalp, parting and checking his hair. His patchiness (I'm not sure if there's an actual term for it) had also disappeared along with the redness. The next day he used his normal Loreal shampoo (so we could compare) and the dandruff was still there the same night he washed his hair. The next morning a few flaky patches came back and there was more dandruff. (His previous tea tree oil shampoo had similar results with less dandruff.) The shampoo worked wonders in just one night and it didn't have a smell at all. I was worried since I saw some reviews saying it smelt bad or smelt like medicine. When you smell from the bottle it does seem to have a faint smell of paint but once you use it in your hair, it doesn't smell at all. Your hair smells normal. I can't wait for him to use the T/Sal again and see the results. It is honestly so refreshing being able to finally find a solution for his dandruff and other hair problems. I would definitely recommend this so far.

Great stuff!

This stuff is the ONLY thing that keeps my dandruff under control!! I love it and will continue to use it, even with it being slightly expensive for a little bottle. To me it is worth it to not have an itchy head!

Honest Review

I never comment on Amazon products, even if they solve my problems I typically skip the review. However, this product was truly exceptional and the only one it made me want to leave a review after using it. I have been dealing with dandruff and oily scalps for years and a few days ago decided that I had enough. Did a few searches and found this out and actually worked after my first wash.

Works ok

Soothes my itchy scalp and hair wasn't too dry after using. Didn't help the hair flaking problem very much tho. Bottle is very small, considered expensive.

Herd good things about this , from a lifelong sufferer of dandruff

But, this isn't the answer for me. It doesn't work, and there is no discerning difference from a $5 bottle of anti-dandruff shampoo compared to this $30 one. waste of money for me.

Really effective at loosening scalp build up

Been using T/Gel to treat seborrheic dermatitis and it was helping slowly but this T/Sal is even more effective. No strong smells and does a great job

seems like every shampoo i used caused some kind of negative result on my scalp; even the expensive ones from my dermotologist. I used to get soreness on my scalp, flaking and dry skin after shampooing and after a day, my scalp is super itchy and oily. Even though i washed twice a day, i was getting this and it was soooo frustrating. After research i looked for shampoos with salylicic acid and this Neutrogena one is awesome!! There is no smell and it lathers up well so you don’t need much at a time. During the wash, i did not feel the soreness and post wash my scalp felt so free; like it could breathe again!! Its the second day now and my scalp is not oily or itchy and no hairs falling out too. Will definitely buy again!!
