Lightweigh

Although the vest is lightweight it is a bit cumbersome putting on. Effective but not outstanding.

Does not reflect

This item was so cheaply made I felt I was duped by the write up. It hardly reflected with on coming vehicle lights that I felt unsafe.

Basic Reflective Vest

The New Balance Reflective Vest - branded for those who run, walk, cycle at night - will meet the basic need. It is bright, neon yellow (though it says green on the post), highly visible, outfitted with several reflective gray panels on the front and back, and has a couple of adjustable velcro points along the waist. It will likely "fit most" as sized on the product, and allows for a high range of motion. Per the product's description, the vest is for women, men, and kids. However, the vest is unflattering. I'm only speaking about the wearability, not the color, as I understand the vest needs to be bright. If you have any roundness or pear-shape to your figure, you will not like how the vest drapes and sags. If you are tall, this vest isn't going to be long enough to look right, either. It is just unflattering. But, again, the intent behind the vest isn't to make you look good. It is meant to keep you safe when walking, jogging, running, cycling after dark. It is an inexpensive, one size, functional basic reflective vest.

Lightweight, packable, breathable, visible.

The New Balance Reflective Vest is a great lightweight vest that I know I'm going to get tons of use out of. I'm a runner who lives in a rural area, and I'm always trying to find bright clothes to wear to stay safe and visible when walking my dogs up our country road. Now, I'll be able to stress less about what I'm wearing, since I've got a great reflective neon vest to pop over top of any outfit. The vest itself is lightweight mesh with tons of reflective strips all over it. The head hole is kinda small, and if you have a big head, big hair, or a hat on, you may struggle for a second to get it on. The body part is very generous, and is fully adjustable with velcro on the sides. The body is kinda short and loose, and I would love it if it could be a bit snugger there, with more room or adjustability in the shoulder area to increase the size of the head hole, and have the vest hang down a bit lower on my body. This thing packs up really tiny, and is great to travel with, if you're planning on doing any running, hiking, or biking out where there might be traffic. I'd also imagine it would be great to take along when camping. The place where I camp has lots of vehicle traffic on the main road that leads to the toilets, and I often walk along there at night. Even with a flashlight, I like to do my part to stay visible. It makes motorists happy to see that someone has put in the effort to be visible and create safe shared road conditions. I definitely recommend this vest.

Light weight, cool and reflective

I think this is a great vest for my son’s safety while riding his bike or jogging. I can use it if I walk too. He has a good reflection when wearing the vest and light hits him. It has reflection material on the front and back of the vest. I feel the reflection material is on the vest well. I believe there is enough reflection strips on the vest where someone can see him or I easily. It has Velcro closures on either side. I feel the Velcro is very strong and holds it on very well. I feel that it adjusts very easily from smaller to larger body types. I feel it has a good range of movement and it is not binding or limiting our body motions in any way. The vest itself is a mesh type material. It feels very light weight and cooling for heavy workouts. I think it is sewn over all very well. All the seams look straightly and evenly sewn to me. I saw no loose threads anywhere. I can hand wash it and drip it dry. I think the price is comparable to others on the market. I have enclosed pictures (some taken in garage with a flash light) so you can make a informed decision based on your personal needs. Yes I would recommend this product.
