I Regret Not Having Found this Product Earlier
My only regret is that I did not find this product earlier as a replacement for original filters . I own two Sears Craftsman mowers from the 90's and am always surprised how the cost of this filter has risen over the years when I replace them. I usually replace them every 2 mowing season. One of the mowers I use for weeds and hard cuts while the other is strictly for our lawn. Both always function well especially with new filter and fresh fuel. As soon as I got my order I immediately installed into the rubber housing that came with the mowers and did not experience any difficulty. I have also proceeded to order two more filters. I am now considering changing filters out every growing season based on cost and quality of this product. Check the photo which appears...PERFECT!

Fits however the steel mesh is not as fine as the original
Fits into the air filter cartridge for my Craftsman 21" Mower. Filter quality is ok however the steel mesh is not as fine compared to the original as you can see in the photo. Considering the filter is close to the ground a lot of grass and debris will be caught in the filter which would be better with a finer steel mesh as the first barrier.

Fit my mower from the 80`s
I didn`t expect to find a filter for an old sears mower from the 80`s but this fit perfectly. I never bothered to search until now and wish I looked years ago. The metal mesh isn`t as close together as my older filter but at this price I`ll just change it more frequently. Works great.

Exact fit
Happy with this filter, fit perfectly on Tecumseh engine. This item is hard to find in the local stores seeing that the engine is out of production for a number of years.

Replacement for craftsman lawnmower.
Air filter was a replacement for the Tecumseh filter on my craftsman lawnmower. Worked fine but the screen mesh was not as small as original as noted in others comments. This may not be an issue but wont know until have more use of lawnmower.

Der Filter wird am Rasenmäher verwendet. Er sitzt stramm auf den Flanschen des Luftfiltergehäuses. Die Leistung ist sehr gut und der Filter macht einen sehr gut verarbeiteten Eindruck.
