Really Nice Curtains but They're Not Complete Blackouts

I'm currently living in an apartment while in my last year of law school and since I'm not allowed to screw a curtain rod into the wall, I found some brackets that were designed to just tap onto the window frame so that the walls don't receive any damage. Therefore, I needed to find some lightweight curtains that were also thick enough to block out the bright lights. While I love the sunshine, sometimes I just want to be able to sleep in a little on the weekends without the sun lighting up my bedroom. These curtains are really nice and are made of a soft, luxurious material but as you can see in my photos, they don't block out the light completely. (For reference, the photos were taken on a rainy day around 4:30pm.) I like that the curtains have the back tabs and not grommets but I wish they did a better job of blocking out the light. I guess I'll just have to get one of those blackout liners.

Good Quality But Nit Room Darkening

These are very good quality curtains and look great but as for being blackout curtains they are far from it. The sun never hits the windows that they cover so I am not putting them up against impossible odds. They are just thick curtains

Not Blackout Curtains

These are not even close to blackout. If you need true blackout curtains, skip over these. Misleading wording and description. On the good, well made, superior fabric and feel.
