The wet-location rating makes this trim perfect for showers, bathrooms, laundry rooms, garages, and outdoor patios. The airtight seal helps protect electrical components and insulate your home to keep warm or cool air from escaping into the attic or rafters. The 17550 trims produce a genuine, finished look without compromising the efficiency of the light source. The wet-location 17550 trims are designed to fit standard 6-inch recessed housings using the included torsion v-springs for installation. The 17550 measures 7.5-inches in diameter with an open aperture of 6-inches. Use with any of NICOR’s 6-inch recessed housings for a perfect match, or use with an existing 6-inch recessed housing.
