Exact fit for a 30 year old Norcold fridge
My motorhome was built in 1987 and came with a Norcold fridge. The fridge still works great but the plastic on the original door shelves became brittle over the last 30 years and started shattering. These shelves are an exact fit, which is somewhat shocking considering how long ago my originals were produced. The RV industry moves slowly and this time I'm actually grateful for it. My only complaint is that these shelves are now only sold in a bright white color. The inside of my fridge is that yellowed bone/ivory that so dominated plastics in the 80's and the original shelves were a smoked transparent plastic. It would have been great to find some in either clear plastic or the same smoked shade, but these will hold my soda cans and yogurts just fine.

Exact replacement part
This door bin arrived in just two days using regular free shipping. It is exactly like the existing shelves in my 1996 Allegro Bay Norcold frig. It is the wider lower shelf that holds slightly larger bottles (e.g. mayonnaise) that the narrower shelves do not hold. I was able to google and find a website that listed part numbers for my frig model so I felt more confident I was ordering the right piece as the part number was listed in the amazon description. If I add to and reconfigure the door bins, I am hoping to increase my rv frig storage. I would return to this seller if I decided I could squeeze in another bin. Although with the wider bin, you do have to watch placement (top and bottom only) so the door closes!
