Perfect shape

The flat edge at the end is perfect for scooping up liquid from the bottom of the pot.

The handle bends a bit

This would not be best suited for heavy stews and such as when loaded the handle flexes just a bit. For jams and preserving and such it's fine. I'd prefer it if they used just a little bit more material to stiffen the neck but it will serve its purpose.

Sturdy, dishwasher safe, perfect size... love it!

I bought this for the flat edge when my old one broke. This ladle is great. Heat resistant to 450 and scoops nearly everything from a crock pot with ease. Sturdy, dishwasher safe, perfect size... love it! Update: BEST ladle ever. After a year of use... Threw out every other round ladle I owned and bought more of these. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!

Norpro Ladle cooks for me

I have been looking for a replacement for an old Ecko spoon which had a flat edge like this. It is now unobtainable. The bowl on this Ladle is a bit deep, but it works well, and allows you to scrape the bottom of a pot when sautéing and stir-frying foods. There is a bit more flex than I like, but on the whole it's a keeper.
