What's going on here??? Misleading request
The Item I was asked to evaluate was NOT this TORK WFIH1 Smart Switch! I was asked to evaluate another completely different switch! I was asked to evaluate the Item "Lutron Caseta Smart Start Kit, Dimmer Switch (2 Count) with Smart Bridge and Pico remotes, Works with Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and the Google Assistant | P-BDG-PKG2W-A | White" (BUT! Not LED compatable!") The Item I purchased (TORK WFIH1 Smart Switch) shown above was returned because it only worked with incondescent light bulbs. I did end up purchasing "2 of Leviton DW6HD-1BZ Decora Smart Wi-Fi 600W Incandescent/300W LED Dimmer, No Hub Required, Works with Alexa, Google " Works GREAT and at half the price of the "Lutron Caseta Smart Start Kit, Dimmer Switch (2 Count)" i was asked to evaluate.

You might need a pro to get it installed correctly, reset instructions unclear
I had an electrician coming for something else and got this put in same time. Even the pro had to fiddle with it so don't kick yourself if you can't get it to work first time. It connected to the wifi first time no issues been working flawlessly for months but now I have to change the network and if there's a reset button it's not obvious on the outside and I can't seem to get the cover plate off must be a trick and I don't wanna break it. Website does not have the installation instructions on it, email for questions which I just sent hope they answer. (I got a return email to call the phone line which is infinity hold music....) It's a good product just like everyone else they sell this thing before they have all the tech support out where folks can get it. I have two of their products this and an outdoor wifi plug which I also can't get reset and the button for it is easy to find. I think all this stuff is basically still in Beta if you're lucky it installs easy if not you got to figure out how to talk to them about it. UPDATE: Since many of these products "copy" each other's methods for resets etc. I just starting looking at any info for all the wifi switch products out there, managed to find the one for the tork. RESET PROCEDURE: Turns out for the Tork you must press on the up side of the paddle switch (the lights are supposed to be on the bottom but my electrician put it in upside down, no biggie just press on the paddle farthest from the lights) for ten seconds until the red light blinks quickly then go to the app and set it up same way you did the first time. ADVICE ABOUT ROUTERS: Because these are so new you might have a bit of a fight getting it paired to your router. New name brand routers are likely to be Mesh Wifi 6 routers, these units do not have separate access point names for 2.4 and 5 Ghz channels they have one name for both and if your device has older tech (i.e. wifi chips) it may not be able to pick out the right channel. There's a youtube with a guy discussing all the stuff he's noticed trying to install these. If you have any skillz (or your teenager does) check your router setup to see if it's possible to setup separate access points for at least 2.4Ghz, make sure it is set for wpa and wpa2 security and most important of all WATCH HOW LONG THE NAME IS if there are too many characters or sometimes special characters in the name your device may not connect because it doesn't like the name. The youtube guy also noted that sometimes you have to temporarily disable the 5Ghz radio on your router before it will connect. When new stuff comes out the companies don't just toss everything in the pipeline in the garbage they let it go to the store so that you then call up and complain it won't work. I have century link and use their router I junked the first zyzxl 3000z they sold me it was doing strange stuff. I found their newest greenwave on ebay much better unit and it is the mesh wifi6 tech. Routers are becoming an investment, if all you're doing is running your google home devices you don't need much but if your kid is playing overwatch or any of those other resource and speed intensive fast action games, while somebody else is watching 4k tv over a roku you're going to be buying a newer more expensive router and your twenty dollar wifi switch may not quite know what to do with it.
